Everyone wants to get help from others. Faced with difficulties and dangers, we always think: if only someone could give me a hand! Therefore, we always place our hopes on others, especially our friends. But in fact, even the best friends are just friends. You can only guess what he thinks, and he will never be influenced by you. As for ordinary people who have never met, let alone looking forward to it. Generally speaking, people are kind, but not everyone is a bodhisattva. So, if you don't do anything, just pin your hopes on others, and you are a natural parasite. Instead of pinning your hopes on others, it is better to start from yourself and firmly grasp yourself.
Everyone wants to have a good family and achieve success and happiness in life; I also hope to have a good working condition and a good motherland. In this way, we can have food and clothes without much effort. But do we know how to create a good family environment, good working conditions and a rich country? We envy those prominent families, but we must know that when their ancestors started their businesses, most of them started from scratch and won a world with their own hands and wisdom, while their successors were tireless and conscientious, not complacent.
We dream of having an elegant and comfortable working space and becoming an enviable white-collar or gold-collar aristocrat. However, we should know that this kind of workspace can only be obtained through our own continuous learning and experience accumulation. Similarly, we want to be born in a beautiful, rich and prosperous country. However, as Kennedy said, ask not what your country can give you, but what you can do for your motherland. Without personal struggle and efforts, how can a country prosper?
In short, it is a truth to start from oneself, and it is not enough to be good at judging good or bad. It is better to do it yourself than to expect others.
However, human nature is always sensitive to other people's faults, but it is extremely tolerant of itself, and sometimes it even argues irrationally and defends itself with clever words. People can always be strict with their wives, children, colleagues, friends and subordinates, but not with themselves. So the biggest shortcoming of people is that they can't lead by example, starting from me. There is such an intriguing dialogue in the "parchment":
People care about other people's minor skin diseases, but they can't see their own serious diseases.
A man has two ears and one mouth, which means that he should do more and talk less.
