Book Donation Activity Plan
1. Preliminary preparation
1. Activity theme:
“Donate a wisp of scholarship and a piece of true love.” Because the 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake buried everything in ruins and destroyed their homes, students in the disaster area did not lose their desire for knowledge. Donate one of your books to give special care to your partners in the disaster area, and let knowledge be passed on in the hands of love.
2. Purpose of the activity
(1) Idle books have been utilized to avoid waste of idle resources.
(2) Effectively alleviate the lack of books in disaster areas.
3. Types of donated books
(1) Counseling and reference books, such as various dictionaries, thesauruses, etc.
(2) Popular science books, such as " "One Hundred Thousand Whys", "Encyclopedia", etc.
(3) Historical stories, from which they can learn about historical figures and events.
(4) Tourism, travel notes, and geography to enrich their understanding of the outside world.
(5) Magazines, abstracts, story telling, Chinese and foreign classics and other health books suitable for public reading.
(6) Newspapers and periodicals. All types of newspapers and periodicals are accepted.
4. Some messages about book donation volunteers
Book donation volunteers can write messages, thoughts and friendship information on the title page or on a separate page. You can also write some blessings or words of encouragement to students in disaster areas.
5. Publicity preparation
(1) Poster publicity
South Campus has issued two posters, one is a book donation proposal and the other is a promotional poster .
(2) Publicity of the proposal
300 copies of the proposal will be printed and publicized at the event.
(3) Banner Promotion
***Produce 2 banners, one for signatures of donors at the South Campus book donation event, and the other for promotion.
(4) The promotion period is from April 1, 2009 to April 2, 2009.
6. Equipment preparation
This event requires a table for on-site recording and banner signing. There are also some necessary items to prepare, such as a set of stickers and four pens.
7. Activity budget
(1) Publicity expenses (including 2 banners, 2 posters, 400 copies of proposals, etc.): ***70 yuan in total
(2) Other activity material costs (such as registration books, labels, glue, markers, etc.): ***20 yuan in total
Total activity costs: 90 yuan
2. Formal activities
1. Time
The time is scheduled from April 1st to April 10th, 2009 from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm

On the road to the cafeteria in South Campus
3. Assignment of activity responsibilities
(1) The banners of the activity will be signed by the activity organization department Responsible for organizing donated books and storing them in categories immediately.
(2) The Propaganda Department is responsible for the preparation of items
(3) The Planning and Liaison Department is responsible for on-site records
4. Specific process
(1) Four people will be on duty at the event site on both days of the event.
(2) When the event begins, all members will be assigned to promote the event and solicit donations. Make records immediately and register the donor’s name and contact information.
(3) Students who come to donate books will be asked to sign the banner as a souvenir. The banner will be displayed after the event.
(4) During the activity, students’ feedback on the book donation or valuable opinions on this activity will be recorded immediately. And thank you to everyone who donated books.
(5) Communicate with donors immediately and provide feedback with specific information to clarify the destination of their books. If there are any unclear questions, explain them in detail.
(6) If there is an emergency, it will be resolved by the Business School Youth Association through consensus. If it still cannot be resolved, it will be reported to the school.
3. Later work
1. Book sorting: The obtained books are immediately sorted and classified, and classified labels are attached for easy reading.
2. Clean the activity site
3. Put away activity equipment and tools.
4. Send the collected books to Tiaodenghe community, and then send them to the disaster area.
