Who formulates national food safety standards?
Legal analysis: The national food safety standards are formulated and published by the health administrative department of the State Council in conjunction with the food safety supervision and management department of the State Council. Food safety standards are mandatory standards. Food producers and operators are responsible for the food safety of their production and operation, the society and the public, and bear social responsibilities.
