Later, Zhu Yafu built an attic indoors, which is the pavilion in the building. This pavilion is only a few square meters. People in the pavilion can't stand up straight, but they can sit up straight, which is enough. Sitting in the pavilion reminds people of Liu Yuxi's humble room inscription. He seems to have come to a quiet paradise from the noisy world. You see, there is an attractive writing desk in the center, and a simple bookcase is made on the side wall to put the books that you can browse casually. There is no bright sunshine in the attic, but there is enough light; Unable to grow fragrant jasmine and peony, I planted some shade-loving asparagus and evergreen trees. When you are tired of reading, it is boring to play with green asparagus. When night covers the earth, a small 8-watt lamp can make a simple pavilion bright. In Zhu Yafu's mind, it is more spacious and bright than Jin Shengtan's "chanting hall" and more quiet and noble than Feng Zikai's "Yuanyuan Hall".
The name of Zilaizhai "Zilai" comes from 1968. On May 1 that year, Zhu Yafu went to Hangzhou for a honeymoon trip. After swimming, the tiger ran to the spring and climbed the Jade Emperor Mountain. It's already hot and sweaty. However, when I approached Zilai Cave and stepped on the immortal stone, I suddenly felt the breeze blowing on my face, which was particularly cool and refreshing, so I took pictures in front of Zilai Cave as a souvenir. Later, I learned that Zilai Cave means "purple gas comes from the east", which is taken from a legend of the ancestor of Taoism: when I rode a green cow westward and went out to Hangu Pass, "Guan told Yin Pass that purple gas was floating inside", which was a good omen. "The Palace of Eternal Life" Hong Sheng said: "Purple air comes from the east, the jade pond looks west, and the bluebird falls in front of the court." . Therefore, it is also arty, and there is the idea of naming the study as "self-invited fasting". Famous calligraphers Ren Zheng, Qian Juntao, Du Xuan and Hu Tiesheng were invited to write the name of fasting.
On the eve of New Year's Day in 2002, Zilaizhai was officially completed. Sitting on the wall facing south, Zhu Yafu hung the magnificent "Purple Lai Zhai" inscribed by Mr. Hu Tiesheng on "New Year's Day in Gui You (1993)", as if "purple gas came from the East", and he felt colorful. In front of the east wall stood a row of bookcases with a height of 3 meters and a width of nearly 3 meters, in which nearly 10,000 of his books were placed neatly and orderly. It is classified according to modern literature, ancient literature, foreign literature, poetry, prose, economics, philosophy, news writing, Marxism-Leninism and Chen Fang's works. His favorite learning culture is also specially displayed. Turn on the spotlights, and the books on the bookshelf will shine pleasing to the eye. Standing in front of the bookcase, arms akimbo, looking at a cupboard full of books, is like reviewing my hordes, and it feels great. At this time, he really realized what a "scholarly house" was!

An indoor calligraphy and painting, which was presented by Mr. Cao Mu Yuan, was recorded from Du Fu's famous sentence "Yu Xin's articles are more successful and his brushwork is vertical and horizontal", which is my friend's expectation; The painting is the Range Rover of Qiandao Lake in osmanthus island by Shi Nanchi, a famous painter in China.
