Djokovic signed a sponsorship contract with Sergio taccini for 10 years. As one of the conditions of cooperation, Sergio taccini will launch four sets of jerseys inspired by Djokovic every year. More details about the contract have not been disclosed.
This is the second time that Djokovic signed a new sponsor within a year after changing the racket brand. The Serbian is regarded as the favourite to win the London final. He said: "My personal idols Sampras and mcenroe have won in Sergio taccini jerseys for most of their careers."
Besides Sampras and mcenroe, Sergio taccini also sponsored a large number of tennis stars such as Connors, Vilander, navratilova martina, sabatini and Hingis in 1970s and 1990s. At present, the most famous tennis players under the brand are Italian player Panetta and Spanish player Tommy Robredo, ranking 1 1 in the world.
