1. New documents for entry
Nucleic acid negative test certificate
The test certificate needs to include the following information:
Name
Contents of test certificate, test results, sampling date, report date and issuance date. Regarding the sampling site, it is limited to nasopharyngeal swabs and saliva, and throat swabs are not accepted.
Medical institution information - institution name, institution address, institution seal (or signature) is generally a test report in English, but it is not mandatory. You can consult the local embassy for specific requirements.
COVID-19 Inspection Declaration Form
It should be noted that the declaration form must be submitted together with the nucleic acid negative test certificate.
Oath letter
If you are a new student entering the country, you need to accept the oath letter provided by the group. The format currently looks the same as last year. However, there are currently no requirements for re-entry students.
Forms to be filled in before entry

First, you need to download the mobile customs APP or the customs passenger fingertip service WeChat applet
Within 24 hours before everyone leaves the country, health declaration and registration for outbound personnel are required. And provide a screenshot of the QR code to save the completed declaration for easy inspection.
Japan Quarantine WEB Questionnaire
Before arriving at the Japanese airport, you need to enter the questionnaire website to register your travel history, health status and other information, obtain the QR code and take a screenshot. When entering Japan, please show your passport and QR code to the staff.
2. Application materials
(1) Passport (you need to submit a valid re-entry permit, including a passport deemed to be a re-entry. If the valid re-entry permit is affixed to the old passport, The old and new passports need to be submitted at the same time)

Applications for this measure should be processed through the agency designated by the Japanese Embassy in China. The embassy does not accept applications from any individual. Applicants who live outside the jurisdiction of the embassy should consult the Japanese consulate in each jurisdiction.
4. Time required
After accepting the application, if it can be issued, the "Confirmation Letter" will be delivered through the agency in turn. (Note: The "Confirmation Letter" cannot be issued on the day of application.)
The embassy will not respond to questions about whether the "Confirmation Letter" can be issued.
5. Handling fee
Regarding this measure, there is no handling fee for applications at the consulate. However, the agency will charge an agency fee. Please consult the agency for details.
6. Entry process
The first step, entry review:
After arriving at the Japanese airport, follow everyone. Use the foreigners’ passage, don’t follow. If the Japanese take the foreigners' passage, they are going the wrong way.
1. Receive the form and fill in the information. At this time, you only need to take out the notes you wrote in China and copy them, saving you the trouble of looking through documents and mobile phones;

After getting the residence card, you must do it yourself. Check the information to see if there are any errors or omissions, and submit the "Application for Permit for Activities Outside Qualifications". A stamp will be stamped on the back of the residence card to prove that you are qualified to work. However, in the past years, there were many cases where staff forgot to stamp it, so you must check clearly. Go get your luggage again.
PS: At large airports such as Narita Airport, you can directly apply for part-time job qualifications when you enter the country. If the airport you land at does not provide this service, you can ask the school to do it for you after enrolling, or you can go there yourself. Handle at the Immigration Bureau.

Step 4: Leave the airport
When you leave the airport, you must submit the customs declaration form you just checked and show your documents (passport and residence card).
