Making business cards with Excel 97

Using the artistic words in Excel 97, you can make all kinds of beautiful business cards by yourself. I believe that after reading this article, you don't have to ask for help when making business cards.

1. Create a new Excel 97 document and rename the worksheet.

(1) Copy a worksheet first. Hold down the Ctrl key and drag the worksheet "Sheet 1" between "Sheet 1" and "Sheet 2" to copy a worksheet named "Sheet 1(2)".

(2) Right-click the worksheet name "Sheet 1" and select the "Rename" command in the shortcut menu to rename "Sheet 1" as "Business Card Typesetting", and rename "Sheet 1 (2)", "Sheet 2" and "Sheet3" as "respectively.

2. Set the page size

(1) Select the business card landscape worksheet, click Page Setup on the File menu, click the Page tab in the Page Setup dialog box, set the paper size to A4, and then select the portrait check box.

(2) Click the margins tab in the page setup dialog box, and set the left and right margins to 0.5, and the top and bottom margins to 0.5. Select the Horizontal Center and Vertical Center check boxes. Similarly, make the above page settings for the worksheets of "vertical business card" and "back business card". When setting up a vertical worksheet for business cards, change the vertical check box to a horizontal check box.

3. Set the size of the business card

The size of a general business card is 90mm×55mm. A4 paper size is 2 10mm×297mm, so a piece of A4 paper size can be designed with at most 10 business cards.

(1) Select the business card typesetting worksheet, drag the right boundary of column A to set the width of column A to 43, select 1 and two rows, and then drag the lower boundary of one of the two rows to set 1 and the height of two rows to 1 54. Similarly, the B3 cell is set to a column width of 25 and a row height of 265.

(2) According to the same principle, set the cells A 1 to B5 in the worksheets of "Horizontal Business Card" and "Back of Business Card" as the column width of 44 and the row height of155; Cells A 1 to E2 in the vertical worksheet of business cards are set to column width 26 and row height 270.

4. Type the contents of the business card.

(1) Enter the "Business Card Layout" worksheet and click the "Draw" button on the toolbar.

(2) Click the Insert WordArt button on the Drawing toolbar. Double-click the special effect you want in the Font Art dialog box.

(3) In the Edit WordArt Text dialog box, type the corresponding text such as company name, select the corresponding required options such as font and font size, and then click OK.

(4) Drag and drop the typed content to the corresponding position of cell A 1. Repeat the process of "Inserting WordArt" above, insert the relevant contents of business cards such as name, department, address and telephone number respectively, and edit and adjust the above contents, size and relative position according to your own preferences.

Cell A2 is the contents on the back of the business card, and the corresponding contents, such as English contents of the business card, business product information, etc. You can insert it in the form of "insert artistic words" as needed. The B3 cell is the content in the "vertical business card". Double-click the WordArt style with vertical effect in the WordArt dialog box.

5. Paste the linked business card content to generate a business card document.

(1) Select cell A 1 of the worksheet "Business Card Layout", and then click the "Copy" button on the standard toolbar.

(2) Enter the "Business Card Layout" worksheet, press the "Shift" key, click the "Edit" menu, select the "Paste Linked Pictures" option under it, and paste the contents in the worksheet A 1 into the worksheet A 1 to B5 cells.

(3) Similarly, paste and link the contents in cell A2 of the "business card typesetting" worksheet to cells A 1 to B5 of the "business card back" worksheet in the form of pictures; Paste and link the contents in the B3 cell of the Business Card Layout worksheet to the A 1 E3 cell of the Business Card Vertical Arrangement worksheet in the form of pictures.

6. Save the business card document as a template.

In the Save As dialog box, select Template under the Save As Type area and type Business Card in the File Name box to save the business card document as a template.

7. Use the Business Card template to print and make business cards.

In the Common tab of the New Document dialog box, click the business card template, and then click OK to open the business card for editing. This method is similar to step 4, where you can insert pictures and so on.

Because there is a link between the contents in the business card landscape worksheet and the contents in the cell A 1 of the business card typesetting worksheet, the changes in the cell A 1 will be reflected in the business card landscape worksheet. Enter the "horizontal arrangement of business cards" worksheet, put the business card paper into the printer, click the "File" menu, select the "Print" command, and print the business card. At this point, a 1 0 business card with the same content as the cell A1in the "Business Card Layout" worksheet will appear in front of your eyes.

The method of making business cards by WORD 97:

Method 1:

How to make business cards with Chinese characters

A good business card reflects a person's character and taste. If only I could design a personalized business card on my computer! Through experiments, I found a way to design business cards with WORD. Here is a brief introduction to the main operation process. For the reference of interested parties.

1, page design, open a file, and select "Full Reality Mode" in "View". According to the printing effect, the cursor selects A4 paper at the origin, and the margins, upper space and lower space are all 0.

2. Set the shape and size of the business card in the Drawing icon in the single-section interface, or select MS Drawing in the Object menu under Insert, and then select Auxiliary Line in the Set Auxiliary Line menu in Color, and a cross-shaped coordinate line will appear in the interface. Drag the mouse to locate the coordinate line at (9.0, 5.5) (standard

3. Design Click the "Word Processing" icon in the toolbar, and select different parameters such as position, font, size, kerning and color according to the requirements of different project lines, so that you can input Chinese characters and draw various graphics directly.

You can also carry out artistic processing on characters, which can be achieved by using MS artistic words, such as shadows, three-dimensional characters, deformation, rotation and other different effects. Then, through the clipboard and the function of importing pictures, you can import all kinds of pictures designed by yourself or input by the scanner on the drawing interface, and you can also achieve other effects, such as fading and overlapping printing. The artistic effect is limited only by your imagination.

All the above processes are carried out in the environment of "what you see is what you get" and color editing. If you are not satisfied with the above design, you can choose one item, edit it again after you are satisfied, and then return to the original file.

4. After printing through the above steps, a business card appears in the file (you can save it at this time), and then you can choose to copy it for 9 times. At this time, 10 business cards will occupy the whole page. Select the appropriate printer and the number of copies to print. If you have a color printer, you can print out color business cards.

Many of the above processes can be simplified by setting Templates, Styles and Macros. This method is not only suitable for personal production, but also suitable for professional business card production.

Method 2:

Call up the main interface of Word97 in Win95, and select Tools → Envelope and Label, and the envelope and label window will appear on the screen. Click the option in the tab item to enter the tab options window, where you can select a new tab to open the new custom tab window. Fill in the following in the New Custom Label window:

1. Label name (you can choose any name, here is mp, and this name will be stored in the Product Number window of Label Options).

2. Top margin (0.4cm in this example)

3. Left and right margins (0.5cm in this example)

4. Vertical spacing (6 cm in this example)

5. Horizontal spacing (10cm in this example)

6. Label height (5cm in this example)

7. Label width (9 cm in this example)

8. Number of label columns (2 in this example)

9. Number of label lines (5 in this example)

10. Page size (A4 in this example)

The above data refers to making ten business cards on A4 paper, each with a height of 5 cm and a length of 9 cm, arranged in five rows, with two cards in each row. If you need to choose another size of paper, please change the data accordingly. After data entry, press OK to return to the tab options window.

Press "OK" to enter the "Envelopes and Labels" window, and the text content of the business card will be entered in the white window. Let's call up the Chinese character input method and start inputting the contents of business cards. Please enter the content according to the specific location of the business card text. When finished, press "New Document" and the miracle will happen in an instant (see Figure 2):

On a piece of A4 paper, display 10 business cards with the same content at the same time. What should I do if I find that there is an error in text input at this time? Do you want to modify them one by one? No, we can call the envelope and label window to modify it, but we can't copy the previous method. If you press Tools → Envelope and Label, there is nothing in the new window except the text, name, address and telephone number before the first blank line. The correct way is to click the mouse in the first column of the first business card on the left side of the main interface, so that this business card becomes white on a black background. Then press Tools → Envelope and Label, and all the words will come out (where there are words, it is still white on a black background). Click the mouse in the small window to make it black on a white background. Now, you can modify it at will. When you are finished, click New Document.

Some people may ask, can the font of the name be changed, for example, in fine calligraphy? Ok, but this can only be modified and inserted one by one (I wonder if there is a better way for all experts to do it).

To convert a name into a WordArt, delete the name and make room for later use. Then select Insert WordArt (that is, the big blue A) on the drawing command bar, and the "WordArt Library" window will appear).

Select a WordArt graphic in this window, press OK, and then select a font and font size in the next window to enter a name.

After entering the name, press "OK" and the name in calligraphy will appear on the first business card. Drag it to the right position with the mouse.

Repeat the above steps until ten business cards are modified. Finally, if you have a printer, print out the business cards, then cut them neatly and distribute them.

[business card paper]

The paper used in this column is basically paper (pulp paper). There are many kinds of paper, from ordinary woven paper to advanced imported paper. Let me introduce it to you. Among them, the paper suitable for making business cards is mostly white medium cloth and Indonesian white cardboard. Because I use an inkjet printer to make business cards myself, and I use white paper to make business cards, I can print the designed colors correctly. If paper with background color is used, the printed color will be chromatic aberration, and the designed color cannot be printed correctly.

18K color card paper 160g color cloth paper (woven paper of various colors)

160g color printing woven paper (each paper can be printed with 10 business cards and various logos or patterns).

160g color printing coated paper (each paper can print 10 business cards and various logos or patterns).

180g color printing white cardboard (each piece of paper can print 10 business cards and various logos or patterns).

18K special cardboard 180g Indonesian white cardboard-the most used.

230g Indonesian white cardboard (printed with 10 business cards on each paper)

160g white woven paper (each paper is printed with 10 business cards)-most commonly used.

180g white coarse paper (each paper is printed with 10 business cards)

180g Xianglong pattern (in various colors) (printed on each piece of paper 10 business card)

200g triangular check paper (in various colors) (printed with 10 business cards on each paper)

200 grams of cotton paper (various colors) (printed with 10 business cards on each paper)

200g colored paper (various colors) (each paper prints 10 business cards).

230 grams of fragrant cardboard (various colors) (printed with 10 business cards on each piece of paper)

[synthetic paper]

Synthetic paper (that is, business card paper that can't be torn open) is actually a plastic film. This kind of paper is only suitable for laser printers to make business cards, but not for inkjet printers, because plastic films can't absorb ink, and the color ink sprayed by inkjet printers can't be absorbed on synthetic paper, even if it is dry, it can't be used, and it will be erased.

Because business cards made by computers can only be printed on synthetic paper by laser printers. Therefore, when choosing synthetic paper, we must pay attention to the choice of high-temperature resistant synthetic paper, and we can't use the synthetic paper used for ordinary offset printing business cards, otherwise it will damage the laser printer. Ordinary synthetic paper will melt at high temperature and stick to the fixed part of the output paper of the laser printer, causing damage to the laser printer. Please pay special attention.

There are many specifications of synthetic paper sold in the market. Imported synthetic paper has the best quality, the printed handwriting is very clear, the paper surface is smooth and flat, and the paper is very thin, but the price is more than double that of domestic paper, so it is not easy to buy this kind of paper now because of the high price. There are many choices of domestic synthetic paper, some printed words are easy to erase, and there will be scattered toner around the words when printing, so this kind of paper is not easy to choose; The quality of domestic synthetic paper is also good, the printing effect is close to that of imported paper, and the paper is slightly thicker. It is best to choose this kind of paper to ensure the printing effect. When buying synthetic paper, you must try it on your own laser printer, and you can buy it in bulk only if you think it is acceptable.

Synthetic paper printing is more difficult than ordinary paper printing, and the most common problem is that toner is scattered around the words. The solution is to reduce the printing density, which can generally be solved by reducing one or two levels, but the printing density of words should be guaranteed. The method of reducing the density can be set directly on the panel of the advanced laser printer, and other printers can choose the appropriate options in the printer settings.

[Plastic coated paper]

In the early 1990s, with the appearance of "computer business card software", plastic coated paper business cards were developed, which changed the monotonous history of printing business cards with planting characters. Molded business card paper generally uses 18k coated paper to print various color patterns (each page can print ten business cards), then typesets the business card data with business card design software on the computer, and then prints the whole page with a laser printer. Finally, it is molded with special plastic film and cut with a business card knife to produce beautiful color pattern business cards, which was all the rage at that time. After years of development, many graphic design companies all over the country have designed many beautiful works for this purpose. According to statistics, there are hundreds of kinds, including world-famous tourist attractions, animals, flowers, gifts, landscapes, computers and logos, a company that includes all walks of life.

[Through plastic board]

Plastic coated paper is used to make plastic business cards with the plastic coated paper. There are 4s and 5s thicknesses, which can be used for different paper thicknesses. If you choose a film with a thickness of 4s, the coated paper is thinner, and you should pay attention to the temperature and method when passing through the mold. Because the film and paper are easy to wrinkle the finished product, you must master the temperature and paper feeding method.
