The first movie I went to the cinema was Love of Hawthorn Tree, which I watched with three sisters in the dormitory. We, who have just entered the third year of high school and are seventeen or eighteen years old, just like Jingqiu in the movie, simply have a beautiful fantasy about love. In the film, when Shawn Dou plays the third child holding hands with a stick, our hearts are as shy and curious as Jingqiu. The vague and pure feelings between them moved us to tears, and several girls cried in the cinema. Finally, the third child in the film got leukemia and was dying. Jingqiu finally met the lover he missed so much. Their story finally left a sad place. Only the hawthorn tree in the mountain opened fire, and finally everyone could do nothing.
