Applications for German study visas, including inter-school cooperation projects, can only be submitted in principle through the examination department of German students studying in Beijing.
Please indicate in your application whether to apply for studying abroad or to apply for a language preparation visa to prepare for studying abroad.
Materials required:
1. Original signed passport (valid for no less than 12 months at the time of application) and two copies of personal data pages.
2. Two application forms filled in and signed in German (the form can be obtained from the German Consulate General in Chengdu or downloaded from the Consulate General official website) and three recent photos with white background.
3. Two signed statements to prove the correctness of the information (according to Article 55 of the Alien Residence Law. The statement can be obtained from the German Consulate General in Chengdu or downloaded from the Consulate General in official website).
4. Original and two copies of residence certificate (such as household registration book) (non-China applicant: China residence permit)
5. The original and two copies of the admission notice issued by the German university or the admission examination notice issued by the Conservatory of Music.
6. The original and two copies of the university graduation certificate or the college entrance examination and suspension certificate issued by the university when you have not completed your studies.
7. Language proficiency certificate of the teaching language (subject to the admission notice)

In your case, you can't apply for this study visa because you are not qualified to study in a university. You can only apply for a German language intensive class visa first, and you can study language classes in Germany first. Although the Goethe Institute is more expensive, its quality is higher. The German Consulate General in Chengdu will cooperate with the Aliens Administration Bureau where the applicant will stay in Germany in the future. The processing time of this case will be obviously different, ahead of schedule.
