Article 12 When a people's court hears a civil case, the parties have the right to debate.
Thirteenth civil litigation should follow the principle of good faith. The parties have the right to dispose of their civil rights and litigation rights within the scope prescribed by law.
Article 14 People's procuratorates have the right to exercise legal supervision over civil litigation.
Fifteenth state organs, social organizations, enterprises and institutions can support the injured units or individuals to bring a lawsuit to the people's court for acts that harm the civil rights and interests of the state, the collective or the individual.
Article 16 The people's congresses of ethnic autonomous areas may formulate flexible or supplementary provisions in accordance with the principles of the Constitution and this Law and in light of the specific conditions of local ethnic groups. The provisions of the autonomous region shall be reported to the NPC Standing Committee for approval. The provisions of an autonomous prefecture or autonomous county shall be submitted to the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the province or autonomous region for approval and reported to the NPC Standing Committee for the record.
