Teachers and students of grades one, two, four and five gathered together to perform poetry classics and answer questions in a knowledge contest, and cheers and applause broke out from the audience.

Poetry, like a bright pearl, shines in the starry sky of literature and art in the 5,-year history of China. In order to stimulate children's interest in learning poetry and let them feel the profoundness of China's traditional culture, the poetry conference has become one of the Chinese subject activities in the fifth grade of Erede International School. Based on the principle of course-oriented and everyone's participation, this activity started from the beginning of school in September to the wonderful presentation at the end of November, which lasted for three months.

In these three months, children have consulted the history of the development of China's poetry culture, learned about favorite poets' stories, recited favorite poems, illustrated favorite poems, listened to popular poems, and wrote short poems in imitation of poems, so as to make them fall in love with poems while studying them.

It's time to show the results. The children of Grade One, Grade Two, Grade Four and Grade Five are sitting in the lecture hall full of confidence and energy. Assistant to President Liu Haoran, Director Zhao Jing of Teaching Department, Director Chen Lin of Moral Education Department, Director Xue Jingxian, Director Yang Haiwei, Teacher Yuan Yuan, Director Du Jing and Teacher Huang Dongyan, the head of Chinese subject, came to the meeting to cheer for the children.

The atmosphere on the stage is lively, and the children either recite poems or interpret their artistic conception. The second chapter is "How many classics do you know", which is the focus of this activity. Twelve students walked confidently onto the stage after the selection of six generals. The poetry knowledge contest was hosted by Liu Lili, a teacher with generous manners and powerful atmosphere. As soon as she took the stage, the children cheered. The last link is the Flying Flower Order, which takes spring, summer, autumn, winter, me, love, Switzerland and virtue as its themes, and the classic chanting of the melody of spring, the movement of summer and the charm of autumn at the beginning of the activity. As soon as the topic came out, the students under the stage were boiling. Together with the contestants on the stage, they opened the treasure house of memory and searched for related poems. Seeing the players' nervous expressions, Teacher Liu Lili comforted them with a smile: Don't worry, children, there is a Chinese teacher to help them! The fourth chapter is a classic couplet, which is the sublimation of this activity. Teacher Zhao Shoumei prepared for many days with the student teams selected by each class. They recited the Book of Songs, Tang poems, Song ci poems and Mao Zedong poems, and their skillful recitation and loud voice made the teachers and students applaud. The teachers were amazed that the children recited such a long "Xunzi's Persuasion" fluently. The last article, The Theory of Young China, was recited by the audience together, with a loud voice and powerful momentum, and an impassioned atmosphere flowed throughout the audience.

Liu Haoran's school assistant walked onto the stage with a big smile.
