Installation of Saipan File Signature Tool
I suggest you try another machine. I haven't met your problem yet.

The following is information about how to use the DOSPY signature tool. Please have a look.

General usage: (Please maximize the window before reading) v2.2.9.0627

======================================

Step 1: Import certificate. [Right-click on your certificate →◤ Import certificate (replace)]

Step 2: Right-click to sign. Now you can click the sis(x) program that needs to be signed anywhere with the right mouse button to execute the signature!

SIS right-click description: ◤ Sign this document (SymbianOSv9) → Sign only this document.

◤ Sign all files (SymbianOSv9) → Sign all sis(x) files in this folder.

◤ Check the validity period (SymbianOSv9) → Check the validity period of sis(x) program.

=======================================================================================================

Detailed instructions for use:

=============

● About the right-click menu

Right click:

◤ Import key (S60 third) → Import. Key file that matches the certificate.

You need to use a key to make a certificate, and you need to use the same key when signing with this certificate. This signing tool has four keys built in. If you sign directly,

The prompt says "No key matching the certificate was found". Please contact the certificate manufacturer to obtain the key, and then right-click the import key.

Right-click the certificate:

◤ Test certificate (S60 third) → Used to quickly test whether the certificate can be signed and whether the keys match.

◤ Import certificate (replacement) → Used to quickly replace certificate (original certificate (if any) will be automatically moved to "Certificate Backup").

◤ Add certificate (multi-certificate) → This menu will appear if multi-certificate support is turned on by using the custom function.

◤ Check the serial number (IMEI) → Check whether this certificate contains your serial number.

Windows' original "Installation Certificate" right-click menu is blocked (this menu is rarely used and has nothing to do with the mobile phone certificate. It is prevented to avoid misleading)

If you want to use the original "Install Certificate" function of Windows, you can double-click the certificate and click "Install Certificate".

If you really need this menu, rename Other\add.reg.dst to add.reg, and double-click to import the registry to restore it.

About certificates and keys

You can use the right mouse button to import certificates and keys, or you can manually put them into the signing tool directory. By default, it is not allowed to use more than one in the signing tool at the same time.

Certificates. If you want to use a fixed number of certificates, you can turn on multi-certificate support in a customized way (* means customized *) or in a temporary mode:

Certificates and keys can also be placed anywhere else with the program to be signed (temporary certificate mode). If temporary certificate mode is used at the same time,

If there is already an imported certificate in the signing tool, a prompt will pop up for the user to choose where to use the certificate. Note that temporary certificate mode is allowed by default.

Use multiple certificates. A signature folder will be created for each certificate.

If your certificate uses a different key than the one that comes with this signing tool, you can import your own key (right-click. Key file) or put the key in the pending signature.

Name file (. Sis(x) file). If your key is password-protected, you will be asked to enter the password when you use it for the first time.

Automatically back up certificates used by users. If this tool is installed on drive C (for example, by default), then the certificate is backed up in (D:\ mobile phone certificate backup), as shown in Figure 3.

If D: disk is inaccessible, change it to E:, F:, G: If G: is still inaccessible, change it back to another directory under the tool installation directory.

The certificate is installed in any other partition except drive C, and it is backed up in other \ mobile phone certificate backup \

When backing up a certificate, if there are certificates with the same name but different modification dates, you can automatically rename the backup (add the date and time to the file name).

About Directory (Folder)

Signature tool → "workplace" of signature tool. In general, it is recommended to sign directly with the right mouse button in other places.

If you can't use the right-click menu (see FAQ) for some reason, you can also put the certificate, sis(x) file, etc. Here together.

Then double-click "Signature". Cmd "to perform the signing.

\ Unsigned \ → Temporarily save a copy of the original file with any signature information (not limited to personal certificate signature) deleted. If the original file

There was no signature originally, so there would be no copy of it here. Note that this is a temporary folder! each

Every signature operation will delete all the contents in this folder and replace them with new contents.

(If ClrSign=N is used to turn off the signature clearing function, there will be no folders. )

\Other\ → The key file, custom configuration file and several other attachments of the signing tool are saved here, such as

If users use their own keys (naming doesn't matter), they can also put them here (or in the parent directory).

● About the file name

Automatic file name recognition. Including the program, certificate and key to be signed, can be identified by changing the file name at will. However, the extension cannot be changed.

The signed program automatically adds the prefix "user name _S_" (the user name is taken from the current login account name of Windows) (* refer to customization *).

Automatically organize file names. Delete the words "unsigned" and "unsigned" in the signed file name to avoid confusion in file name labeling.

If the same certificate is used to sign the same file for many times, the signed file will not be overwritten but will be renamed automatically (add [1], [2], etc.). ).

● Others

After downloading this tool, the default installation location is "C:\ Signature Tool". Don't change it if it is not necessary.

If you really want to move to another place, move the signature tool folder to a new location as a whole, and then double-click Run Sign. Cmd "once.

All sis(x) programs will clear the original signature before performing the signature operation (this default operation can be customized) (* refer to customization *).

Common keys can be automatically matched (the tool comes with 2 keys), and other keys can be easily extended and supported (just put them into the signature tool or other directories).

Provide uninstall function (in other directories) to delete the established right-click menu. (Please delete the old file manually. )

If the prompt "CMD is disabled by the administrator" is displayed, please double-click "If CMD is disabled _ double-click me. Reg "Under Import Other \.

● Known issues:

The problem of using the right-click menu of signature tool after blacking out (multi-selecting) multiple files with the mouse;

Try not to do this. This will open a running window for each blocked file. Selecting several files will open several windows. The specific situation is as follows:

◤ Sign this file → Sign the first file in the first window; The second window signs the second file ... If you select several files, you will open several.

Windows run simultaneously. Although there is nothing wrong with this, opening multiple windows at the same time may lead to calculation.

The machine stops responding or an error occurs. If your computer is powerful enough, then a few may be fine. ...

◤ Sign all documents → This means signing all documents in every window! Meaningless waste, so I made some restrictions in the signature tool.

If you try to do this, it should be that all windows will open, and then all windows will exit without any prompt.

(If the performance of the computer is weak, it is also possible to keep the window opened first and sign all documents normally. )

Questions about special characters:

The full path where the signing tool is located cannot contain the following special characters (in quotation marks): "&","%",""

If you try to install the signing tool in this path, you will refuse the installation and give a prompt.

If the file of the program to be signed contains "&",it will be replaced with "_" after signing. Contains "",which will be lost in the file name after signing.

If the certificate file name contains the above special characters, some functions of sorting file names may be invalid.

● Attachment: User description of user-defined profile Other\Custom.ini:

; =================================================================================================

; User-defined Description of DOSPY Signature Tool: (Please maximize the window before reading)

; =================================================================================================

; Provide some options that can be customized according to personal habits and requirements. After reading the instructions, open Other\Custom.ini to fill in and save.

;

; -

; Prefix defines the file name of the signature file with an additional prefix. If left blank, it defaults to1(the current login user name of Windows). Optional:

;

; Prefix=0 No other prefixes are added. Example:

; call master _ 2.4 1 _ unsigned . sis→S _ call master _ 2.4 1 _。 sisx

;

; Prefix= 1 Use the current login user name of Windows. Example:

; Callmaster _ 2.41_ unsigned.sis→ Tam _S_CallMaster_2.4 1_. sisx

;

; Prefix=2 Use the name of the certificate that executed the signing. Example:

; call master _ 2.4 1 _ unsigned . sis→3548050 1 1234567 _ S _ call master _ 2.4 1 _。 sisx

;

; Prefix = Other Text

; You can customize any other content. Example:

; Callmaster _ 2.41_ unsigned.sis→ other characters _ s _S_CallMaster_2.4 1_. sisx+0 _ .sisx

;

; Tip: When using multiple certificates, consider defining it as =2, and rename those certificates to intuitive names in advance. ...

; When customizing to other content, you can use Chinese, but there can be no spaces or other special characters that hinder the operation of CMD.

; -

; Color 1 defines the color scheme of the CMD window during normal operation.

; Color2 defines the color scheme when a warning prompt (such as an error) appears in the CMD window.

;

; The color attribute is specified by two hexadecimal digits: the first is the background and the second is the foreground. Each number can be one of the following values:

;

; 0 = black 8 = gray

; 1 = blue 9 = light blue

; 2 = green A = light green

; 3 = lake blue B = light green

; 4 = red C = light red

; 5 = purple D = lavender

; 6 = yellow E = light yellow

; 7 = white F = bright white

; For example (this tool defaults):

; Color 1=07 (black background, white text)

; Color2=4E (red background, light yellow text)

; Entering other invalid codes will cause an error or automatically revert to the Windows default 07 (black background, white text).

; Be careful not to set the background and foreground the same. (Then I can't see anything _)

;

; -

; MultiCER defines whether multiple certificates are allowed in the signing tool. By default, multiple certificates are not allowed in the tool directory.

; If you need to sign the program with a fixed number of certificates at a time (for example, you have more than one mobile phone), you can set this item to =Y, as shown in:

; MultiCER=Y (leaving blank or entering other contents is regarded as prohibiting the use of multiple certificates in the tool directory by default).

; Note: Even if this item is not set to =Y, you can temporarily use multi-certificate mode by putting multiple certificates in the same directory of the program to be signed.

; As long as it is not in the signing tool directory. Right-click the sis file → "Sign this file" or "Sign all files".

; Whether "Add Certificate" appears in the certificate right-click menu depends on whether this setting is = y ... The modification of the menu will take effect after any operation.

; -

; CreOutDIR defines whether to create a directory for signature files. For example:

; CreOutDIR=N Do not create a directory, the signed program will be directly put back in the same directory as the program to be signed.

; Note: This definition is valid only if one certificate is used. If multiple certificates are used, this setting will be ignored and each certificate will be signed.

; Create a subdirectory under the directory where the original program to be signed is located. The format of the created directory name is similar to: signed _ 354805011234567 _

; -

; PopUp defines whether the folder where the signature file is located is allowed to open automatically after signing. By default, sub-text created by a signature operation

; If the number of folders (depending on the number of certificates) is less than 3 (excluding), the folder where the signed file is located will be automatically opened in Windows after signing.

; If the number of certificates is greater than or equal to 3, it will not be opened automatically. If you don't like automatic pop-ups, set this value to =N to disable it. Example:

; This will not automatically pop up the window. You must find the folder yourself (it will be located in the same directory as the signed file) (refer to CreOutDIR).

; -

; ClrSign defines whether to clear the original signature information in the program to be signed before signing.

; If a program has been signed by other personal certificates, it is invalid to add your own personal signature to it, and it will still be installed.

; Unable to install after receiving the prompt of "Restricted by Certificate". In this case, you need to clear the original program's signature before signing.

; By default, the tool does this.

;

; If you clear the signatures of some programs that have been signed with high-authority certificates but have expired, will some permissions of the programs be lost?

; Cause some dysfunction? I haven't tested this question carefully. This situation is suggested to be solved by adjusting the date of mobile phone system.

; ClrSign=N This will prevent the signing program from clearing the signature before each signature. Assigning other content is regarded as the default.
