Over the past year, faced with the severe test of the financial crisis, under the correct leadership of the Party Working Committee, the Administrative Committee and the Wuzhong District Federation of Trade Unions, trade union organizations at all levels in our district have closely focused on the central work of the Development Zone and the objectives and tasks of the Wuzhong District Federation of Trade Unions, organized and coordinated street trade unions with the starting point of "helping each other to promote harmony, making contributions and seeking development", and actively carried out various activities with wide influence and obvious effects, leading the trade unions at all levels and the broad masses of workers in the Development Zone to act.
First, strengthen the study of political theory and improve the political quality of trade union cadres and workers.
In 2009, in accordance with the unified arrangements of the District Committee and the Party Working Committee of the Development Zone, the Development Zone Federation of Trade Unions and four street trade unions carried out in-depth activities to study and practice Scientific Outlook on Development, strengthened the study of party discipline and rules, organized and watched warning educational films, and visited the memorial hall to learn from honest officials. Through counseling reports, organizing training, speech essay contest, discussion experience, backbone training, study abroad and other forms, the ideological and political quality of party member cadres has been improved, and the consciousness of implementing the party's line, principles and policies and the relevant provisions on building a clean and honest party style has been enhanced. In 2009, the Development Zone Federation of Trade Unions and four street trade unions * * * held 9 training courses, and 1292 trade union cadres and workers participated in the training.
Second, the pace of establishing trade unions in enterprises has been accelerated, and the coverage of trade unions has been expanding.

(2) Do a good job in creating new enterprises. In order to speed up the establishment of new enterprises, we should go deep into enterprises and publicize them widely. The trade unions in Guoxiang Street have intensified the propaganda of establishing trade unions, and sent letters to 1 12 enterprises that have not yet established trade unions to publicize the importance, necessity and practical significance of the trade union law and the establishment of trade unions by enterprises. At the same time, we cooperated with the labor and social security center, safety supervision office and other functional departments, and made use of opportunities such as law enforcement, safety inspection and job fairs to intensify the construction of the meeting and complete the task of building the meeting in the whole year 18. The Yuexi Street Trade Union also overfulfilled the task of building a trade union throughout the year. In 2009, 74 new trade unions were established in the Development Zone, covering 299 trade unions, with 6.5438+0.2 million new trade union members, which successfully completed the task of establishing trade unions assigned by Wuzhong District Federation of Trade Unions and provided good follow-up services.
(3) Earnestly promote the pilot work of direct election and democratic election of trade union chairmen. On May 19, the Development Zone Federation of Trade Unions, together with Hedong Sewage Treatment Plant, worked out in detail the operation methods and steps of direct democratic election of the trade union chairman. Through full preparation and consultation in the early stage, the members of the trade union Committee and the chairman of the trade union were successfully directly elected. Eight enterprises, including Guoxiang Street Trade Union and Chengnan Street Trade Union, carried out the pilot project of direct election of trade union chairmen, and all achieved the expected goals.
(4) Conscientiously do a good job in the creation and improve the level of trade unions in enterprises. The trade unions at all levels in the Development Zone will continue to carry out the activities of "three haves, three goodies and one gang". The Federation of Trade Unions in the Development Zone organizes street trade unions to carry out activities once a month to exchange experience in establishing and arrange trade union work. In 2009, Guoxiang Street Trade Union won the title of "Jiangsu Demonstration Street Trade Union"; Hengjing Street Trade Union, Yuexi Street Trade Union and Chengnan Street Trade Union were established as "Liu Hao Town (District, Street) Trade Union" in Wuzhong District (at this point, the Development Zone Federation of Trade Unions, Guoxiang Street Trade Union, Hengjing Street Trade Union, Yuexi Street Trade Union and Chengnan Street Trade Union were all established as "Liu Hao Town (District, Street) Trade Union" in Wuzhong District); Establish 3 "model enterprise trade unions", 9 "advanced workers' homes" and 33 "three-owned and three-good enterprises"; Guoxiang Street Trade Union, Development Zone Federation of Trade Unions, Chengnan Street Trade Union, Hengjing Street Trade Union and Yuexi Street Trade Union won the first, second and third prizes for trade union work in 2009 respectively. Jiangyuan Thermal Power Company, Wudong Meiergao Clothing Company, Honglilai Clothing Company and Far East Clothing Company won the first, second and third prizes for trade union work of key enterprises respectively.
(5) Do a good job in democratic management. Trade unions at all levels insist on urging enterprises to establish a workers' congress system, and adopt democratic management forms suitable for enterprises' own characteristics, such as setting up bulletin boards, boxes for workers' opinions (suggestions), democratic management mailboxes, leaders' reception days, workers' discussion groups, hiring democratic management supervisors or sending letters to solicit opinions on a regular basis, so as to increase the transparency of decision-making and guarantee the rights of workers to participate in democratic management of enterprises.
Third, Qi Xin has made concerted efforts to create a development atmosphere.
At the beginning of last year, some enterprises in our region were affected by the international financial crisis, and orders were reduced, production stopped, semi-production stopped, and financing difficulties increased. Faced with the difficulties encountered by enterprises, trade unions at all levels in the development zone have taken active actions to help enterprises make suggestions and suggestions around the requirements of "ensuring growth and promoting development" in the development zone. First, organize a symposium to listen to opinions face to face. Organize and participate in the investigation and discussion of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions on the production and operation of enterprises in different industries in the Development Zone; Organize and participate in 22 textile entrepreneurs' symposiums organized by the Chamber of Commerce in Development Zone. Second, from February 9 to 25, we went deep into 19 enterprise and conducted a thorough investigation. The third is to hold a grand "gift-giving action". On February 27th, the Development Zone Federation of Trade Unions, the Communist Youth League Working Committee, the Women's Working Committee and the four street trade unions in Guoxiang, Hengjing, Yuexi and Chengnan jointly held the initiative of "* * * overcoming difficulties for development, maintaining stability and promoting harmony". The fourth is to carry out "two struggles for one tree" activities to improve the quality of employees. On April 17, 2009, "Wuzhong Economic Development Zone Workers' Home" was formally established. The workers' home in the Development Zone, Guotai Community in Guoxiang Street and Jingyuan Community in Hengjing Street were named as the demonstration sites of Suzhou Trade Union's "Workers' Reading Station". The reading room of workers' home in the Development Zone, Guotai Community in Guoxiang Street, Moshe Community in Yuexi Street, Suzhou Honglilai Clothing Co., Ltd., Suzhou Dong Rui Chemical Co., Ltd., Suzhou Jiangyuan Thermal Power Co., Ltd. and other units were rated as demonstration sites for trade union workers' reading stations in Wuzhong District.
Four, actively coordinate labor relations, and constantly increase efforts to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

First, establish labor dispute mediation committees in enterprises, implement the system of "labor adjustment monthly report", and keep abreast of the dynamics of labor adjustment in enterprises. Second, do a good job in legal publicity focusing on labor contract law and other laws and regulations, and guide employees to learn, understand and use the law. The third is to do a good job in the reception of letters and visits by mediators and keep abreast of the situation of labor adjustment through various channels.
(three) to carry out poverty alleviation activities, the development results benefit the workers. Dynamic and networked management has been implemented for employees with difficulties, and "five must-know" and "six must-visit" have been achieved. Last year, the Development Zone Federation of Trade Unions visited 63 poor workers and paid more than 60,000 yuan to send warm to help the poor. In addition to regular visits and condolences, we will also carry out vocational introduction and vocational training with the labor department and hold a job fair for re-employment, which will not only help the poor, but also help them get rid of poverty.
(four) care about the lives of female workers and safeguard the rights and interests of female workers. All the trade unions at all levels in our region meet the requirements for organizing female employees. 100% has established female employee committees, and all of them have signed special contracts for the protection of female employees. The Development Zone Federation of Trade Unions, the Women's Work Committee and the Labor Department jointly held the "Special Job Fair for Laid-off Women Workers" and the "Vocational Training Course for Laid-off Women Workers", which solved the reemployment difficulties of more than 60 laid-off women workers.
Five, around the overall situation of economic development, leading workers to make contributions.

Trade unions at all levels in our region actively mobilized 1000 enterprises to participate in the "ankang cup" theme competition. A labor safety production network has been established in grass-roots trade unions, and the Law on Monitoring Accident Hidden Dangers and Occupational Hazards has been actively implemented, and prevention and treatment by groups have been implemented to improve production safety. Six, carry out cultural and sports activities for workers, and expand the social influence of trade unions.
In 2009, with the theme of celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), trade unions at all levels in our district carried out a variety of cultural and sports activities. In 2009, faced with the impact of the international financial crisis, trade unions at all levels in our region turned pressure into motivation and challenges into opportunities, and carried out fruitful trade union work, which was affirmed by the Party Working Committee and Management Committee of the Development Zone. The annual GDP of the Development Zone was 654.38+09.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 654.38+02%. 20 10 Development Zone Trade Union Work Objectives

Trade union organizations at all levels should strive to promote the establishment of a standardized, orderly, fair and reasonable, mutually beneficial, harmonious and stable new enterprise labor relations.
