First packaging
The packaging of real Zippo lighters is exquisite. There are four kinds of packaging: common cheap plastic boxes, black paper boxes with light yellow bottom covers, iron covers and blue velvet boxes, all of which are very good.
Second: appearance
The rivets at the ignition wheel and cam of a real Zippo lighter are white, and the flint holder at the bottom is yellow. The flint holder under the fake flint wheel is mostly white, although some high imitations have been copied successfully. Third, as long as we put in the real flint and turn the flint wheel left and right, we will find that the flint turns badly in the flint tube.
Third: weight
Real Zippo lighters are generally lighter than imitations, because real Zippo lighters are made of their special materials.
Fourth: Feeling
The real Zippo is made of special materials, feels very comfortable and has a sense of fullness, which other imitations can't do.
Fifth: sound
The genuine zippo will make a crisp sound when it bounces off the lid, while the fake zippo will make a dumb sound when it closes the lid. You will feel sticky when the fake Zippo opens and closes, which makes the activity seem to be half a beat slower.
Sixth: strike a fire.
The real zippo is basically a dozen after refueling, and the flame is very stable, while the fake Zippo is the opposite, and the flame is quite unstable.
Seventh: flame
Real Zippo lighters will not ignite the fuselage until the fuel is exhausted, while Zippo imitations will produce flickering flames and smoke when burning, and the whole fuselage will catch fire in less than 4 minutes.
Eighth: windproof ability
The flame of a real Zippo lighter is not easy to be blown out by the wind, while a fake Zippo lighter will be blown out as long as it meets a little wind.
Ninth: year identification
The real Zippo has a year of manufacture, using 1957 [] (from 1957), [|] (from 1966- 1973), [/] (19773). Arabic numerals (A stands for 1 month, B stands for February and C stands for March) represent the month of manufacture.
