Australian immigrants
The concept of skilled immigrants in Australia is simply that non-Australian permanent residents apply to immigrate to Australia by virtue of their professional skills. So what kind of people are eligible to immigrate to Australia? According to the Australian Immigration Law, the following four basic conditions must be met first:

1) Under the age of 45

2) English proficiency: IELTS score is 5

Some professional immigrants, such as engineers, require 6 points, registered nurses require 7 points, and if they apply for registered doctors to immigrate, they need to pass OET level B. But some skilled workers require 4.5 points. Doctors must have passed the OET B-level exam

3) Work experience: If the occupation you apply for nomination belongs to Australia's 6-point occupation, you need to have 12 months of work experience in the 18 months before applying for immigration; If the occupation you apply for nomination belongs to Australia's 4-point or 5-point occupation, you need to have 2 years' work experience in the 3 years before applying for immigration. Usually, the occupation you nominate is closely related to your education, but there are exceptions.

4) Education: You need to have a high school education or above.

If you meet the above four basic conditions, you are eligible to give yourself an immigration score. At present, Australia's immigration score is 12, but in order to meet the needs of production development in some States, Australia has set some special immigration standards to 1 or even 7. In other words, if you give yourself a score of 12, you can immigrate anywhere in Australia 1%; If your score is only 1 or even lower, you need to meet some additional conditions of the Australian government, such as living in a non-metropolis or being short of skilled workers nominated by some Australian state governments, such as chefs, motor vehicle mechanics, metal structure mechanics, welding and metal plate mechanics, electricians, painters and so on.

Australia's scoring system consists of 11 parts, and each part is given different scores. These 11 parts are: skills, age, English ability, work experience, jobs in short supply, Australian education, life and study experience in remote areas of Australia, application for immigration in non-prosperous urban areas of Australia, spouse, reward scores and Australian relatives. Below, Aoyu Company will give you an explanation of the relevant partial score distribution one by one. If your scores add up to 12 points, congratulations, you are qualified to apply for immigration to Australia immediately; If your score is less than 12, please refer to the Alternative Skilled Migration Scheme that Can't Meet 136 general skilled migration. If you meet the conditions in it, you are also eligible to immigrate to Australia. The following analysis is only for domestic applicants, and other technical analysis involving overseas students is not included in this article.

1) Skill scores

There are three occupational scores in Australia: 6, 5 and 4.

: a 6-point occupation is called a professional in Australia and a professional professional in English. For example, engineers, teachers, doctors, lawyers, finance, IT, translation, and managers (Australia has a strict definition of managers, which usually stipulates that there must be 2 employees). A career with a score of 5 is called a Generalist Professional, and English is a generic professional. Usually, majors that can't be classified as 6 points for domestic undergraduate graduation can be classified as 5 points, and they can be upgraded to undergraduate courses or self-taught undergraduate courses. College graduates are generally classified as 4 points. However, this classification is only a general principle. Some applicants with college education can also be evaluated as 6-point occupations, such as some IT professionals or those who have passed the translation qualification with good English skills. Australia's professional nomination is generally based on your academic qualifications. Australia believes that 6 points of majors belong to studying and professional training in universities, 5 points of occupations belong to no professional training in universities, and junior colleges are just ordinary studies, so different scores are given according to these majors. It is worth noting that skilled workers also belong to the 6-point occupation. Australia calls it Tradeperson, and skilled workers in Australia are very scarce, such as plumbers, electricians, fitters, painters, chefs and so on. Skilled workers don't necessarily need a college degree. Please refer to the article "Skilled workers immigrate to Australia" for the immigration requirements of skilled workers.
