Shanghai Exit-Entry Administration has implemented e-visa processing, and the visa office has recently installed the Taiwan Compatriot Permit Issuance Operation. The self-signing machine will promote the Taiwan Compatriot Permit affixing form to be inputted on the self-service machine and then printed out.

From now on, all passengers who hold a valid Taiwanese identity card (valid for more than three months, with a blank endorsement page) but do not have a valid endorsement and must apply for endorsement upon landing must use the self-service machine to fill it out. Any passenger who meets the signature requirements must go to the self-service acceptance machine to fill in the form first. The acceptance window only accepts application forms printed by the machine.
