Chen Liping’s personal experience

Teacher Chen Liping was born in Anyang, the ancient capital. She has been obsessed with calligraphy since she was a child. She has studied extensively for many years and worked tirelessly. After coming into contact with Nüshu, I was deeply attracted by the magic and beauty of Nüshu. I became a disciple of Wang Chengxi, the founder of Nüshu calligraphy, and learned Nüshu calligraphy and Nüshu patterns. Fortunately, I was taught by the discoverer of Nüshu, Professor Gong Zhebing, a famous scholar from Wuhan University. Guided by the guidance, a systematic and rigorous study and research on Nüshu culture was carried out. Years of studying and creating Nüshu have enabled her to perfectly inherit Nüshu and at the same time carry forward Nüshu. Based on the origin of Nüshu, she has achieved her own unique Nüshu calligraphy and pattern style, which is also creative. independently created Nushu Dance. Nowadays, Teacher Chen Liping has taken up the task of protecting and disseminating Nüshu culture and art, and has long been committed to the protection, research, creation, promotion and dissemination of Nüshu culture and art (the study of calligraphy, patterns, music, etc.).

Teacher Chen Liping’s Nüshu calligraphy is unique. His calligraphy contains the charm of traditional Chinese calligraphy without losing the unique charm of Nüshu calligraphy. Her Guan element combines traditional Chinese calligraphy and the unique natural properties of Nüshu to give Nüshu calligraphy a defining shape. His female calligraphy does not stick to one definition or one model, but adjusts the style of calligraphy creation according to specific content: when writing about the south of the Yangtze River, there are small bridges and flowing water, and Wu Nong's words are soft; when writing about the desert, the setting sun is solitary, There are hundreds of battles in the yellow sand; when writing about a girl, there is drizzle and smoke from the kitchen, and the sleeves are green and the clothes are green. In the unified definition and diverse styles, Nüshu calligraphy can be extended, diverged, and charming. Because her works are very spiritual, lively and like dancing patterns, other Nüshu writers praised them as "Dancing Nüshu"! Her works teach people the softness and toughness of women, embodying the unity of calligraphy and artistic conception, natural harmony, peace and beauty.

Her Nüshu patterns use the unique genes of Nüshu, and together with Nüshu calligraphy, they interpret Nüshu culture. The patterns of the female calligraphy she creates are novel yet ancient; romantic yet true; elegant yet simple. The culture and interest of the Chinese nation are combined in these unique yet harmonious patterns.

The Nüshu dance she created alone is a pioneering work in the history of Nüshu and the first of its kind. Nüshu dance is the expression and interpretation of Nüshu culture, Nüshu characters and Nüshu patterns. It dances out the temperament of Nüshu, expressing the quiet Nüshu culture with dynamic body language. It is a summary of words and patterns, sublimation, Yao and Han style, Han and Chu culture are also quietly integrated in the dance. In 2007, at a large-scale Nüshu event in Wuhan

Teacher Chen performed in person and received unanimous praise. While concentrating on creation, Teacher Chen has been committed to the protection, research, creation, promotion and dissemination of Nüshu culture. After many years of hard work, Teacher Chen has received feedback. She went to the birthplace of Nüshu many times for inspection and study, and formed a deep sisterly relationship with the local inheritors of Nüshu. Legend has it that her daughters have learned Nüshu calligraphy and a healthy attitude towards life from her. She has long been cooperating with the local government, Nüshu Management Center, and Nüshu researchers to conduct extensive and in-depth exchanges on Nüshu culture and explore the future development direction of Nüshu.
