Binzhou Archives Bureau (Museum) was established in196265438+February, which is a county-level institution managed according to the Civil Service Law. It consists of four functional departments: office (exhibition hall management service center), business guidance department, legal publicity and education department, collection and utilization department and 1 party branch, with a total staff of 24 people and 24 staff members.

Binzhou Archives Bureau (Museum) is located at No.235 Houjie, Binzhou City, adjacent to the northwest side of the municipal building, with a construction area of 1. 1 1,000 square meters, with 5 floors in the main body and 6 floors in the local area. Beautiful environment, novel design, reasonable layout, modern equipment such as building automation, intelligent monitoring, fire linkage, etc., which was completed and put into use in July 2009.

In recent years, Binzhou Archives has stepped up its efforts to receive and collect files in various forms, and the collection of files has reached 169 full cases and 83 134 volumes (pieces). Among them, there are 65968 volumes of documents, scientific and technical archives and professional archives1765,438+066 volumes. In addition, there are more than 3,000 pieces of 1064 audio-visual archives, 270,000 electronic files collected from other places, 454 seal files, more than 200 paintings by leaders and celebrities and some physical files. In addition, there are 9662 books in the library, and more than 2 1400 electronic records and materials are collected. At this point, the municipal archives initially formed a collection file resource system with local characteristics.

In June 2008, the Municipal Archives was successfully promoted to the national second-class comprehensive archives through evaluation.
