The theme of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day is consistent with the work carried out by ITU: make full use of the potential of ICT, and give full play to the role of young inventors and entrepreneurs, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups and technology centers in promoting innovative practical solutions to promote the realization of sustainable development goals, with special emphasis on small and medium-sized enterprises in developing countries.
