Gucheng-Zhuxi Expressway is an important part of the "seven vertical, five horizontal and three ring" expressway network layout planned by Hubei Province. Starting from Daomiao Temple in Shihua Town, Gucheng County, it is connected with Yin Fu Expressway; It passes through Baokang County, Fangxian County, Zhushan County, Zhuxi County and other places, ends near Luohanya at the junction of Hubei and Shaanxi, and connects with the Pingli-Ankang Expressway in Shaanxi Province under construction. The total length of the route is 226.915km. The whole line adopts the standard of two-way four-lane fully enclosed interchange expressway, with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour and a subgrade width of 24.5 meters.
