This sentence was originally a hope of Premier Wen, and was later used as an advertising language by Niu Gensheng of Mengniu Company.

In April, 2006, Premier Wen left a deep feeling when he inspected the dairy industry: "I have a dream that everyone in China, first of all children, can drink a catty of milk every day."

Subsequently, Mengniu Company launched a high-profile advertisement on CCTV that "a catty of milk a day makes China people stronger", which aroused strong concern in the industry.
