At the time of writing this poem, the author had been imprisoned for three years, and the enemy treated him both hard and soft. However, high officials and generous officials cannot give in, and prison suffering cannot give in. His temples were covered with frost, and his will was strengthened. Wen Tianxiang felt the hardship at the end of his life because of the cold and humid prison, hard diet, the service of his wife and children in the palace and the surrender of the court. He wrote this sad and unyielding short poem with a heavy pen dipped in blood and tears.

This poem is diluted and peaceful, without the heroism of "heaven and earth are righteous" and the generosity of "keeping the heart of Dan as a mirror of history". It just shows the hero's desire to get together with his family to enjoy Tu Su's fine wine on the New Year's Day, and even reveals a trace of loneliness and sadness between the lines. It is in the tender moment when Dan Xin is like an iron man that the authenticity of the human body under the strong iron will is reflected. The "fragility" involved in this kind of affection makes us deeply realize the greatness of human nature and the immortal personality of a clanking man.

Except at night, there is no carved language, no trivial sentences and no high slogans. However, we still felt a strong shock inside. No matter how the times change, no matter how the ethnic composition expands, no matter how the concept of moral right and wrong changes, Wen Tianxiang, as a symbol of our national spirit and a great totem of the personality of loyalty, filial piety and righteousness, will still be a moral model to inspire generation after generation in the future.
