"Golden Comedy Classroom" is the first comedy inheritance variety in China, which is produced by the Art Program Center of the Central Radio and Television General Station. The slogan is "The real comedy spirit needs to be passed down".

The program combines reality show with stage competition, explores the story behind comedy, shows the whole process of cultivating successors by comedy masters, and unexpectedly presents a new look of comedy variety. The program covers dramas, musicals, puppet shows, magic comedies, sitcoms, guitars and other comedies; The program flow is divided into four stages: in the first stage, 50 groups of comedians get together for admission evaluation after registration and screening.
