Waris Dirie (Waris Dirie) is a legendary woman, the first black supermodel to appear in VOGUE, known as the "African feminist fighter" and one of the 30 female models selected by Forbes.

Varis was born in 1965, a nomadic tribe in Galkayo, Somalia. As a child, Varis was circumcised according to Somali customs. /kloc-at the age of 0/2, my father was forced to marry an old man in order to get five camels. Before getting married, with her mother's acquiescence, Varis fled the marriage barefoot alone and went through many difficulties all the way to England.

1987, Varis played a small role in James Bond's film The Light of Living Day. From 65438 to 0995, BBC filmed a documentary called Nomad in New York for her modeling career.

Varis, as a human rights activist and United Nations anti-circumcision ambassador, has suffered many violent attacks and persecution. However, Varis did not flinch and give up because of this. She is still working tirelessly for the dignity and rights of women. She is a well-deserved "African feminist fighter" and a model and example for women all over the world.
