Li Chunlei's Saihanba in China focuses on Saihanba people's tenacity and persistence in pursuing green ecological dreams, while Wang Guoping's What a Big Forest focuses on the comparison between the past and the present of forest farms, and excavates the internal motivation of Saihanba people from the perspective of ecological thought and spiritual strength. "Saihanba Time" does not simply praise the struggle and dedication of farmers in Saihanba, but the development process of Saihanba's transformation from barren and desolate sandy land to modern forest farm, which further highlights the historical value and significance of Saihanba's afforestation in the historical changes of local and even the whole northern natural environment.
