Design concept:
"Fuwa" are five anthropomorphic dolls. Their prototypes and headdresses contain the connection with the ocean, forest, fire, earth and sky, and use the expression of China traditional art to show the profoundness of splendid China culture. Beijing Olympic Games
Each doll of the mascot represents a good wish: Beibei symbolizes prosperity, Jingjing symbolizes joy, Huanhuan symbolizes passion, Yingying symbolizes health, and Nini symbolizes good luck. With the hospitality of Beijing, the dolls brought their blessings to all corners of the world and invited people from all over the world to gather in Beijing to celebrate the 2008 China Beijing Olympic Games. These five Fuwa are called Beibei, Jingjing, Huanhuan, Yingying and Nini respectively. Take a word from each of their names to form the homonym "Welcome to Beijing".
In terms of design ideas, the mascots of the Beijing Olympic Games perfectly combine the images of animals and people for the first time, emphasizing the concept of people-oriented, harmony between man and animals and nature. In the design concept, the Olympic elements are directly quoted to the mascot for the first time. For example, the idea of Huowa comes from the Olympic flame; In the design and application, it highlights the personalization of extended use. A major feature is that the headdresses of the five mascots can be independently developed and used in a wider range. Children can choose different headdresses to wear on their heads according to their own preferences. Lively children have also become lovely mascots, which greatly enhances their interaction. Beibei's inspiration: Chinese New Year pictures-more than a year, the traditional fish pattern and water wave pattern in China.
Beibei's blessing is prosperity. She is a small carp. In China traditional culture and art, the patterns of "fish" and "water" are symbols of prosperity and harvest. People use "carp yue longmen" to mean successful career and dream realization, and "fish" also means good luck every year.
Beibei's head decoration adopts the fish pattern of Neolithic age in China. She is gentle and pure, and she is a master of water sports, which is in harmony with the blue ring in the Olympic rings.

Huanhuan is inspired by the traditional fire patterns in China and the fire patterns in Dunhuang murals. Huanhuan is Fuwa's eldest brother. He is a fire doll, symbolizing the Olympic flame. Huanhuan is the embodiment of sports passion, which spreads passion to all parts of the world and conveys the Olympic spirit faster, higher and stronger. Everywhere Huanhuan went, Beijing 2008 was full of enthusiasm for the world. It represents the red ring in the Olympic rings.
