With the continuous implementation of the family planning policy, the number of school-age children is decreasing year by year, people pay more attention to their children's education, and the demand for quality education is getting stronger and stronger; According to the people-oriented idea of running a school, in order to promote the balanced development of compulsory education and deepen quality education and education reform, all localities began to adjust the layout of schools, rationally allocate and integrate quality education resources, and gradually form a large-scale school-running pattern; There are more and more boarding schools of different scales, and the advantages of large-scale schooling are gradually highlighted, and students' self-care, self-management and autonomous learning abilities are improved. However, there are also many problems in boarding schools. This paper discusses the problems existing in the management of boarding schools and some of our practices. This is also to increase the strength of technical schools, so our strict management is of considerable benefit to their growth.

First, the existing problems and reasons

(1) When students first entered school, they lacked good living habits and poor health awareness. For example, I don't tidy up my housework in the morning, brush my teeth incorrectly, put away my toiletries, wash my hands before and after meals, wash dishes in time, and clean the dormitory in time. These problems are mainly due to the fact that most students come from rural areas and are influenced by family environment. They have not developed good hygiene habits since childhood, and of course it is also related to the management of schools and teachers.

(2) Some students have poor behavior habits, poor sense of civility and politeness, and poor sense of cooperation, such as swearing, littering with scraps of paper and stones everywhere, not speaking Mandarin, not writing standardized words, and easily colliding with classmates because of trivial matters, unable to understand each other, helping each other, and even fighting. The emergence of the only child is one of the reasons, which leads to self-centeredness, no sense of humility and cooperation; The influence of family education is the main reason, and the poor quality of parents plays a subtle role in children's behavior; The regular education of schools has not been effectively corrected and guided according to the actual situation of students, and the role of parents' schools has not really been brought into play, so parents' educational concepts need to be improved.

(3) Failure to develop good study habits, unclear study purpose, incorrect attitude, insufficient initiative, unscientific methods, inability to scientifically and reasonably arrange the time relationship between study, rest and activities, blindness and randomness in study, and lack of plans and goals. This is related to the educational ideas and management methods of schools and teachers, such as ineffective implementation of learning routines, emphasizing the cultivation of intellectual factors, ignoring the cultivation of non-intellectual factors, less contact with students after class, insufficient understanding of students' actual situation, insufficient guidance in class, more knowledge, less cultivation of good learning habits and methods, passive acceptance of knowledge by students, and lack of cultivation of students' subjective consciousness.
