Second, the people of Yunnan are deeply influenced by the thought of democratic revolution and have the tradition of armed revolution. Thirdly, Yunnan was a weak area under Yuan Shikai's rule, especially after the Second Revolution, Yunnan became a well-preserved province of China's revolutionary forces. There are many young officers in the Yunnan army who are members of the alliance, such as Luo Peijin, Deng Taizhong and Tang. They participated in the Revolution of 1911, and the democratic revolutionary thought had a great influence on them. Because Yunnan has long been influenced by bourgeois democratic revolutionary thought, the revolutionary forces can gain a foothold in Yunnan.

Fourth, Yunnan has an army trained by the Revolution of 1911. There are many military talents in Yunnan Army who graduated from universities at home and abroad, such as Cai E, Yunnan, Yunnan, Luo Peijin and Tang. Influenced by the idea of democratic revolution for a long time, the army has good combat effectiveness. Strong military strength is an important factor for Yunnan to dare to raise the banner of protecting the country and resist Yuan first.

Fifth, Tang's participation in the anti-Yuan movement was the decisive condition for making full use of Yunnan's political, military and financial strength to prepare for the uprising.
