The Knockout, a drama born under the background of the normalization of eliminating evils, not only benefited from the industry environment, but also had a close relationship with the performance of director Xu Jizhou. Xu Jizhou, born in 1976, has been working for more than 20 years. His career began with police drama and police drama, and his creative interest has always been related to this. In Xu Jizhou's view, The Knockout is the natural result of his life experience and creative experience, and it is a work that can be engraved on the urn.

The origin of The Knockout's name

Xu Jizhou, the director, revealed in an interview that The Knockout was named because the special struggle to eliminate evils in 20 19 was further promoted. When Bai Liu Film and Television found out that Xu Jizhou wanted to make a drama with the theme of "eliminating evil", Xu Jizhou readily agreed and began to collect information and do the sorting work. I started writing the script in 2020, started on September 26th, 2002/kloc-0, and finished it on June 28th, 2022.

When writing, some terms will be involved, such as "political and legal system education rectification", "blade inward", "looking back for 20 years" and so on. And I have to interview, do my homework and read a lot of documents. When the script was written to two-thirds, the special struggle against evil was staged, and the fight against evil entered normalization. In order to better fit this node, the crew members integrated more content in this respect in time. Because of the content of "protective umbrella" and secret criminal means, it is relatively difficult to adjust.

The name "Hurricane" originally came from the word "Liang Zhu from Tingzhou to Changsha", "an international elegy, the hurricane fell from the sky for me". The first two sentences of this poem, "In June, the heavenly soldiers were greedy and bound Kun Peng for a long time", are also in line with the temperament of this drama-a storm is coming, and only the courage of a strong man to break his wrist, self-revolution, and scrape the bones to cure poison can truly eliminate evil.

Xu Jizhou believes that the word "unhealthy tendencies" is consistent with the sweeping away of evils and the thunderous education and rectification of the political and legal system in recent years.
