? I used to think that as long as I didn't throw garbage, it was environmental protection, but after learning it, I realized that it was far more than that. In this National Day intermediate outdoor training, I learned the seven principles of LNT for the first time, that is, the principle of minimum environmental impact:
1, make full planning and preparation in advance.
? 2. Walking and camping on tolerable ground
? 3. Dispose of garbage correctly
? 4. Keep the natural features.
? 5, pay attention to the field with fire
? Step 6 respect wildlife
? 7. Consider other outdoor activities.
? Our two-day and one-night trip to Luofu Mountain basically followed this rule. Before departure, we are required to carry as little food as possible, and each person should carry a certain amount of garbage bags to prepare for the disposal of the garbage that may be generated by himself, which is in line with the first point; On the road again, whether in theory class or on the road, the coach has always stressed that we must take the existing road and not open up new routes and destroy the surrounding areas. We also chose an ancient temple when camping, and even when we had a picnic, we didn't destroy the soil, but placed a boiler on the exposed rock, which was in line with the second point; In terms of garbage disposal, we not only bring all the garbage we produce down the mountain, but also the garbage thrown by others on the mountain. Even in places where there are many people in the scenic spot, we don't throw our garbage into the trash can on the steps of the scenic spot, because we always remember that the coach said, "The trash cans on both sides of the scenic spot are not for you, so you can't bother the maintenance personnel. You must take the garbage into the trash can that the car can drive." This is in line with the third point. Along the way, none of us broke branches and picked flowers, and no one tried to take some souvenirs or leave anything, because we were passers-by, and if we left anything or took it away, it would probably affect the ecology of the scene. Seriously speaking, it meets the fourth and sixth points; When we use fire for a picnic, we choose open and flat rocks and use professional outdoor boilers, which will not affect everything around us except the traces of walking, in line with the fifth point; No one plays some pop music or anything along the way, bringing some modern noisy sounds into the mountains, because other outdoor people may not like it, and they will say hello when they meet other outdoor people, which is in line with the seventh point.
? In short, the environmental protection of outdoor activities, in addition to not throwing garbage, is more important to respect nature. If a person can live without leaving a trace, that is the best. True outdoor enthusiasts are environmentally conscious, but unfortunately many people don't, so there is endless garbage collection all over the mountain!
