We can see that freedom and equality is the consistent slogan of all capitalist revolutions, because freedom and equality of individual thought and status are the foundation and cornerstone of capitalism. Advocating the principle of national self-determination in the international community is to awaken most people who are still in feudal or even slave ideology and is conducive to promoting capitalism. Promoting capitalism means promoting the free trade market. For capitalist countries, there is a great need for the market, and in the market economy system of survival of the fittest, established capitalist countries are of course confident that their own strength can win in this competition, thus realizing the "colonial expansion" of the economy.
