Qinglian town is an established town under the jurisdiction of jiangyou city, Sichuan Province, located at east longitude104 38 ′ and north latitude 3142 ′. It is adjacent to Zhangming Town and Longfeng Town of jiangyou city in the east, Jiuling Town and Xiping Town in the southwest and Taiping Town in the north. It is 0/2km away from jiangyou city/KLOC-0 and 23km away from Mianyang City. It is the hometown of Li Bai, a world famous poet in China in the Tang Dynasty. The whole town of qinglian town covers an area of 23.4 square kilometers and governs 7 administrative villages, 1 community neighborhood committee and 56 villagers' groups.
