GrenzSchutzGruppe9 (GSG9 for short) is a special anti-terrorism and anti-hijacking force established by Colonel ulrich Wei Gena in September 1972 under the order of the Ministry of the Interior. Their slogan is "Everything starts from scratch". GSG9 is a special anti-terrorism force of the Federal Republic of Germany, and it has the reputation of "quiet as a virgin, moving as a rabbit and fast as a leopard". The special anti-terrorist forces in many countries in the world are based on GSG9, and even Israel has turned to GSG9 for help. GSG9 is especially famous for being good at anti-hijacking. For more than 20 years, they have made great achievements in the anti-terrorism front and are called "German Jaguar".

GSG9 is actually a special police force, which is under the command of the Minister of the Interior. At present, there are less than 200 players in GSG9, with an average age of 26. Headquartered in St. Augustine. The brigade has four special operations squadrons, 1 communication reconnaissance brigade, 1 technical squadron and 1 helicopter squadron. The basic combat unit of the brigade is the battle group, with 5 people in each group. They believe that such a five-person combat team can give full play to subjective initiative. Players usually wear dark green berets, and wear black titanium helmets (with walkie-talkies) and bulletproof vests in wartime. In order to prevent players from being caught by opponents in melee combat, combat suits are designed to be tight and tidy. In order to avoid the commander being too prominent in the battle and causing casualties, all officers and men of GSG9 do not wear grade marks.
