At present, there are only three major operators in China. China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile all have mobile phones, fixed lines and broadband services. The original Netcom merged with Unicom, and China Mobile merged with Tietong. China Telecom didn't merge with anyone, but bought the CDMA network of China Unicom to make mobile phones. Broadband was originally made by China Telecom, China Netcom and China Railcom, while fixed-line was originally made by China Unicom, China Telecom and China Railcom. So after the merger, all three companies have complete services. Broadband refers to the functional service connected to the Internet, which can be opened by fixed line, that is, connected to the Internet by telephone line, or can be opened without fixed line and logged in separately.
