Hu is smart, studious, resolute and courageous, and has excellent academic performance. 1953 after graduating from junior high school, he stepped into the forefront of defending the motherland, joined the people of China, and worked as a soldier and cultural teacher. 1956 transferred to Dehua, assigned to the county experimental primary school in autumn, served as a math class in senior three, and concurrently served as a counselor of the Young Pioneers Squadron. After he arrived in Dehua County, he worked boldly and actively, maintained the fine tradition of the army, was not afraid of hardship and tiredness, rushed to do heavy work and dirty work, and took the initiative to participate in various central tasks of society. Be serious about teaching and have the spirit of studying. He has no professional education. He always humbly asks the old teacher for advice. He is not shy about asking questions. He dares to be a "pupil" and learn while teaching. Teacher Hu died heroically at the age of 22. After his sacrifice, Fujian Provincial People's Committee awarded the title of "Revolutionary Martyr" and issued a martyr certificate. The certificate is now with his adopted son Hu Guixian.
