Our school's "Practice and Research of Mental Health Education for Primary School Students" began to carry out experiments in September of xxxx, and the conclusion report of psychological topics. In the past three years, under the guidance of the district education bureau, school leaders and relevant experts, we have made solid research and actively explored better and more effective mental health education methods in practice, and achieved results.
First, the research background and motivation
Unesco has put forward such a slogan: half of health is psychology. This shows that in the information society with highly developed material civilization, mental health has become a problem that cannot be ignored, which is more important for education. Especially now, most students in schools are only children, and parents and teachers often have one-sided understanding of students' psychological education, which leads to unhealthy psychological development of children. For example, although some students have good academic performance and strong painting and singing skills, they are selfish and willful, lack compassion and perseverance, have poor self-confidence and teamwork spirit, and even have psychological diseases such as weariness of learning, irritability, fear of setbacks and autism. These phenomena restrict their harmonious and healthy growth to some extent. At present, quality education is fully implemented in the whole country, and mental health education is an important part of quality education. In order to achieve the goal of paying attention to students' all-round development, building a harmonious campus and promoting students' sustainable development, our school attaches great importance to students' mental health education. The school research group tried to do some exploration in this respect, and specially declared the provincial-level "Practice and Research of Mental Health Education for Primary School Students".
Second, the basis of research
In the course of the experiment, according to the research content of the research group, combined with the reality and existing problems of our students, based on educational psychology, following the age characteristics and personality differences of primary school students, following the law of integration of knowledge and practice, and insisting on practical education.
Third, the goal and focus of the study.
Primary school students' mental health is based on education and focuses on guidance. Follow the law of students' physical and mental development and realize the combination of scientific and targeted mental health education; Facing all students and paying attention to individual students; Combine respect, understanding and sincerity; Combination of prevention, correction and development; Teachers' scientific guidance is combined with students' active participation. Students with psychological troubles or psychological barriers can get scientific and meaningful psychological counseling, enhance their self-adjustment ability, withstand setbacks and adapt to the environment, cultivate their good psychological quality and promote the sound development of their personality.
Emphasis: interpersonal communication, study adaptation and personality counseling.
Fourth, the content of the study
According to the age characteristics of primary school students, our school chooses grade group as the starting point. According to the actual situation and existing problems of students, mental health education follows the law of physical and mental development of primary school students, and the emphasis of each grade is different.
1, lower grade: reduce dependence on adults, help students adapt to the new environment, new groups, new student life, and feel the fun of learning knowledge; Develop good study habits, stimulate students' interest, try to establish appropriate interpersonal relationships, and be willing to communicate with teachers and classmates; Experience friendship in modest and friendly communication.
2. Middle school: help students to know the society, get a preliminary understanding of social laws and regulations, form a preliminary learning method, and learn to adjust their learning mentality; Be good at communicating with more students in class activities, learn to adjust and deal with interpersonal relationships, and cultivate collective consciousness.
3. Senior grade: help students learn the methods of emotional regulation and initially form a good personality; Learn to live a healthy life, have certain self-monitoring ability, learn to set learning goals, master certain learning methods, improve learning interest and self-confidence, treat academic performance correctly, overcome learning weariness and experience the fun of learning success. Participate in social practice, initially establish healthy and harmonious interpersonal relationships, and cultivate a cheerful, gregarious and self-reliant healthy personality.

2, according to the actual, experimental research.
(1) Strengthen publicity and raise awareness.
In order to popularize mental health education and improve the understanding level of teachers, students and parents on mental health. The school makes full use of radio, blackboard newspaper, psychological lectures, parent-teacher conferences and other forms to carry out propaganda work and the main contents of school research, so that the teachers, students and parents of the school know what psychology is, what mental health is and its importance to personal study, life and even work, and greatly realize the significance and role of mental health education in the school.
(two) from the school's education and teaching work, to carry out various forms of mental health education.
(1) Take students as the main body and carry out activities.
The tenet of running a school is "all for students, all for students, all for students". Students are the main body of the school and the main object of mental health education. In order to make students develop healthily and harmoniously, we carry out the following activities.
① Establish a case base. Through the detailed understanding and observation of the class teacher, the school determines a few students with serious psychological troubles and obstacles as the object of case follow-up, and the grade group tutors communicate once a month and make records, and carefully analyze the behavioral reasons and educational effects to improve the pertinence of later education. At present, there are more than 20 members in the school's psychological counseling case database. After more than a year of observation and education, most students can study normally, communicate with their classmates normally, and their ability to do things is greatly enhanced.
Case 1: Wu Mou in Class 5 (3) has a brain disorder, and his spirit is often out of control. After a year's follow-up education and guidance from the grade group teachers, I can now study in the regular class. Student evaluation: I can sit quietly in class, get along well with my peers after class, and don't attack others casually.
Case 2: Hu of Class 3 (1) has a bad temper, is hyperactive, can't concentrate on his studies, behaves casually in class, and often hits people for no reason. Now students' evaluation: class can be quiet, homework can be completed in time, and reckless behavior has improved.
Case 3: Class 4 (2) Xu, who doesn't associate with classmates, usually doesn't participate in school group activities and is autistic. Now students' evaluation: in the following classes, I played with my classmates, talked in class, and performed more actively in group activities.
Case 4: Mou Wei in Class 4 (1) is extremely subjective, impulsive and self-centered. Once, because of a small incident, he had a conflict with his grandfather, so he raised his axe and cut him, and was stopped in time. Now parents' evaluation: be friendly with people, learn to solve problems in a civilized and rational way, respect parents, and be willing to communicate with parents when encountering problems.
② Hold special lectures. In order to improve students' self-regulation ability and quality, the school invites experts to hold at least one lecture every semester to guide students to adjust their psychology. Professor Ren Qiping from the Department of Educational Technology of Teachers College is devoted to educational research. Starting from children's psychological characteristics, he communicated with students through lectures, which benefited students a lot. At the end of xxxx, our school invited the editor of Intimate Sister magazine to give a special lecture on mental health education for students. Her simple explanation has been well received by the majority of students, greatly improving their self-psychological adjustment ability.
(3) hold a mental health blackboard newspaper. Every semester, the school will hold a special exhibition of mental health blackboard newspaper to let students know the importance of psychology and mental health, and let more students master scientific learning methods and self-regulation methods.
(4) Provide psychological consultation and counseling to help students eliminate psychological barriers. The school has set up a "bosom sister mailbox", where students can put their growing troubles into the mailbox in the form of letters, and the tutor can give students a quick reply, guide students to learn and guide their thoughts. The psychological counseling teachers in the senior group also organized excellent fifth-grade students to set up a consulting group to discuss their growth troubles. Through friendly communication between teachers and students, they not only solved the confusion of students with poor grades caused by improper learning methods, but also enhanced their communication skills.
(2) Strengthen the communication between school and family mental health education, and optimize the family education environment.
Family education is the supplement and extension of school education, which affects the effect of school education and is irreplaceable. Our school attaches great importance to parents' participation in mental health education.
First, actively create conditions for parents to hold lectures on mental health knowledge so that more parents can care about their children's mental health while caring about their children's physical health. In xxxx, the health director of the Third Hospital was hired to give parents a report on children's physical and mental health education. In September of xxxx, Professor Yan Yuntang of An Normal University was invited to give a lecture on "Paying Attention to Students' Spring Physiology and Psychological Education", and made a simple analysis on how senior students overcome the phenomena of psychological weariness, lying and puppy love, which was deeply inspired by their parents. In September of xxxx, Professor Ren Qiping was invited to give a report on how to help children adapt to the life of primary school students for parents of senior one students. All kinds of experts guide lectures, so that parents can reduce blindness in the process of educating their children, so as to scientifically guide their children to love life, love learning, care about society and others, cultivate their sense of responsibility, independence, self-esteem and self-control, and develop an optimistic attitude.
The second is to introduce the modern education concept to parents through the Family Education Weekly newspaper, psychological blackboard newspaper, radio station, parent-teacher conference and other means, so as to let them know what burden reduction is and the importance of family democratic atmosphere to children's growth, help parents to establish the modern concept of educating people and becoming talents, give students the opportunity to practice, participate and experience, and also give children an equal, relaxed and free growth environment.
Third, case education, dialogue and heart-to-heart communication are carried out for individual parents with psychological problems. Contact parents in time to discuss solutions to children's problems.
