Extended data:
Since NYBO was launched in Beijing on September 20 17, it has been supported by the Youth Sports Department of the State Sports General Administration, the Chinese Basketball Association and the China Middle School Sports Association. NYBO adheres to the slogan of "one game a week to witness growth" and the purpose of "let children who are not on the school team have formal games to play". Through the continuous competition arrangement every weekend and throughout the year, we will build a complete amateur basketball competition system for the national basketball teenagers aged 4- 16, promote the development of students' body, mind and personality, and deeply practice the integration of sports and education.
Compared with the traditional tournament system, NYBO has created a subversive schedule setting, adopting the form of annual city competition and championship. The types of events include spring competition, autumn competition, national finals, summer invitational tournament and international invitational tournament. Among them, the National Finals is held every summer, which is the highest level event of NYBO and the highest standard single event of domestic youth basketball. It has been successfully held for two sessions.
