PG- 13 means that the audience below 13 must be accompanied by their parents. In the case that the domestic mainstream animation market is dominated by young and middle-aged works for many years, the influence of the magic weapon on the domestic animation market is undoubtedly enormous. It turns out that domestic animation can also be full of violence and depth. In fact, before this, there were many deep works in domestic animation, but this time "The Great Guardian" was full of bloody violence and deep dark expression. It is inevitable that the theme of domestic animation tends to be rich, and The Great Protector dares to try and is worth encouraging.

1, music-

As far as the soundtrack is concerned, the atmosphere of the highlights is still well rendered, which can at least shift my attention from the picture to the music and make me feel the charm of the soundtrack. The director abandoned the aesthetic style and chose the depressing atmosphere and simple character model design, which naturally reduced the appeal of the work. The box office situation basically depends on the depth of the story and the audience's reputation. The transition uses a similar body transition, which is not obviously noticed by other technologies. At the end of the climax, Xiao Jiang was killed, and the close-up of the prince's face is still very touching, which can make the audience really feel the emotions of anger and grief, push the climax of the story to the highest point and deepen the theme. 4, the script-

If the picture and word-of-mouth determine to some extent whether most viewers will watch this work, then the plot determines to some extent whether the audience will think about the depth of the story. Speaking of the depth of the story, it is naturally associated with Zootopia, the best animation of the 20 17 Oscar. This masterpiece with a score of 9.2 criticizes the society and exposes the ugliness of human nature. The script setting of "The Great Guardian" is relatively poor, far less attractive than that of Zootopia, and the ideological level is similar, but the script setting is not as good as the former. 5. Theme-

Isn't this the portrayal of our daily life? Sometimes there are unreasonable places in life, but we can only accept the rules and adapt to them, and we can't make ourselves different. Sometimes, if you obey the public, you will be safe and ordinary. But sometimes, if you are different and innovative, you will stand out. Just like this movie, it is not always beautiful in animation, but a new way, a simple and violent style.

(2) The right or wrong of ideal pursuit.

Under Ji 'an's brainwashing, the butcher in the story became more and more cruel and cold-blooded, just like Japan and Germany in World War II, which trumpeted the inferior remarks of other races. It is just a brainwashing slogan to think that others are inferior and should be eliminated. This idea is very scary. Brainwashed people think that the way they pursue their ideals is correct, but they feel very glorious. In fact, they are doing an extremely wrong thing.

(3) lines-

Lines are an important way to express the depth of the theme, but personally, some lines are more complicated. In the posters and trailers, there is a sentence: "Thank you to all beings who have given me adversity", which is also a line of the protagonist Dafa. This sentence may be a bit far-fetched in the plot, but it is the idea that the director wants to convey to the audience after the story is over. Even if the reality is so dark, we should be optimistic to thank the setbacks in life for tempering us.

④ Xiaoming's future conception.

Xiaoming's model is the only one that is "normal" and looks more comfortable. Is a simple and kind little boy, and near the end of the film, after successfully saving the prince, he actually made plans for the prince and his life at an early age, saying that he would become a hero of the future emperor, but the listener, the prince, was at a loss. The age gap between the two is so big, and the thinking gap about the future is so big, which forms a sharp contrast, suggesting that children in the present society have come into contact with the social environment and lost their youth early.

Some fragments may seem inexplicable, but if you think about it carefully, you will find many metaphors in them. A clever work of course indirectly expresses the sub-theme of the story. Just like Zootopia, a profound work, when you chew it carefully, will taste the real delicious food. This work implies two brushes, but it is a pity that this work lacks appeal. There should be a lot of deep places. I believe that the truly profound works do not depend on the over-interpretation of the audience, but on the producer's intention to leave traces waiting for you and me to explore.

Summary-Because this animated film pays more attention to depth than surface, the production cost of 20 million yuan is enough, and the characters and scenes don't need to be too demanding on this subject. Although there are no big highlights in many places, it can arouse the audience's deep thinking, which many domestic animations can't do, such as the recent excellent domestic animation "Young Royal Guards" and "Full-time Master". After reading it, will you think deeply about the theme of the story? In fact, this is not to belittle them. After all, they only have the first season at this time, and sometimes they have a long disadvantage compared with long series animation. The shaping of attraction is the focus of the first season, and perhaps the profound theme will slowly unfold in the subsequent plot. In contrast, the first part of The Bright Moon in Qin Dynasty, which is quite deep today, is about the same length ten years ago and has no profound theme, but Under One Man is good. Even if it's just a season, it's almost the same as the previous works, but it can also take into account the interest and depth of the plot. However, at present, domestic animation generally pays attention to the character's face value and attraction and ignores the story depth.

If you want to spray it, it is not suitable for children. Please look at its classification first, and indicate that people under 13 should watch it with their parents, but even if their parents watch it, what's the big use? Personally, if parents are unable to give full guidance, they really shouldn't stay in the shadows with their children. With the richness of the theme of the works, grading is becoming more and more important. Personally, I think the current non-classification policy does more harm than good. If you don't think it can even score 6, it may be that you lack understanding of the depth of the story, or that you are used to the sensory stimulation brought by movies. After all, the film market in China is still immature. As Xiaogang Feng bombarded, the movie market in China was caused by the audience to some extent. There are still many people who are keen to watch Transformers 5, a movie with weak plot but strong sensory stimulation. Maybe some people in China just regard watching movies as a way of entertainment, but they don't have the ability and patience to appreciate the seventh art in the world.

Because the Great Protector doesn't have the IP and emotional advantages like The Return of the Great Sage and The Big Fish Begonia, it is also doomed that it will not look good at the box office in terms of pictures, shapes and themes. Therefore, an excellent domestic animation work really needs to be on a par with Zootopia, without feelings and IP, relying on its own excellent screen technology, lovable character design, interesting plot and rich depth theme. This tests the script more, so it makes sense that the plot is king. Unfortunately, scriptwriting is the weakest part of the domestic film and television animation industry.
