I. Provisions of the Law on the Administration of Domestic Activities of Overseas Non-governmental Organizations
The Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Administration of Domestic Activities of Chinese and Foreign NGOs is a law formulated to regulate and guide the activities of foreign NGOs in China, safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, and promote exchanges and cooperation. The Law on the Administration of Domestic Activities of Non-governmental Organizations at Home and Abroad in People's Republic of China (PRC) was adopted at the 20th meeting of the 12th NPC Standing Committee in People's Republic of China (PRC) on April 28th, 20 16, and came into force on October 28th, 20 17. After the representative office of an overseas NGO cancels its registration, the overseas NGO that established the representative office shall properly handle the aftermath. The representative offices of overseas non-governmental organizations do not have legal person status, and if relevant legal responsibilities are involved, they shall be borne by overseas non-governmental organizations.
Two. Slogans of overseas NGOs
Understand the situation clearly, unify thoughts, and earnestly enhance the sense of political responsibility and urgency to do a good job in the management of overseas NGOs. Give prominence to key points, pay equal attention to management and service, and vigorously promote the healthy development of overseas NGOs. Prevent overseas NGOs from carrying out activities in the name of donating money for education and helping the poor.
The representative offices of overseas non-governmental organizations shall handle tax registration according to law with their registration certificates, carve seals, open bank accounts in banks in China, and report the copies of tax registration certificates, seal patterns and bank accounts to the registration administration authorities for the record.
