Founded in 2007, Blue Sky Rescue (BSR) is a private, professional and independent public welfare emergency rescue organization in China. After years of development and practical rescue, it has become a professional and international humanitarian rescue organization covering life rescue, humanitarian rescue, disaster prevention, emergency response capacity improvement, post-disaster recovery and disaster reduction.

According to official website information of Blue Sky Rescue Team, as of July, 20021year, Blue Sky Rescue Team has set up rescue teams in 3/kloc-0 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), with more than 50,000 registered volunteers nationwide, of which more than 10000 volunteers have received professional rescue training and certification.

At present, more than 20 thousand people have professional skills such as first aid, rope, water area and communication. Even some team members have the ability to fly helicopters, and 44 team members are members of INSARAG (International Search and Rescue Advisory Group). It is understood that more than 90% of the Blue Sky Rescue Team are not professional rescuers.
