Great Wall Township. Great Wall Township, Yanggao County, Datong City, Shanxi Province has a long history. According to legend, Yanggao existed under other names in Yao, Shun, Xia and Shang Dynasties. The main crops in Great Wall Township are yellow rice, corn, millet, sorghum, potatoes and millet, so the yellow rice in Yanggao County is in Great Wall Township. Yanggao County is a county under the jurisdiction of Datong City, Shanxi Province. In the Western Han Dynasty, a county was established, and Jin was renamed as a county. In the third year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1725), it was renamed as its present name.
