Sports Day

In primary school, today is sports day; All parents and friends are invited to attend. Every class in the school must participate in one or more sports competitions, such as relay races, long-distance running, ball games, parades and so on. All the guests have small chairs to sit on one side of the school playground. If you want to buy ice cream or candy, there are refreshments and a snack bar. After each project, everyone cheered and applauded. Individual winners received special honors, but on the whole, everyone felt great that day.

A page from Sally's diary.

We held a school sports meeting on the school playground last week. All my classmates took an active part. Sometimes we watch sports games quietly. Sometimes, we cheer loudly for sports members.

John took part in the1500m race. He was the fastest runner in the race and won the first place. Lisa didn't do well in the high jump, so we said "Come on" to encourage her. I took part in the 200-meter race. As soon as I heard the starting gun, I ran as fast as I could. When I was running, I heard "Come on! Come on! " From my classmates. This gives me great strength. Finally, I was the first person to reach the finish line. I am the first.

As a result, our class won the first place in the sports meeting. How proud we are! This is really an exciting day.
