Among the top ten machine manufacturers, China enterprises occupy six seats. In 2022, with the official entry of China offshore wind power into parity era, the installed capacity of offshore wind power dropped significantly. Sany Heavy Industry and CRRC replaced Electric Wind Power and Dongfang Electric, which had relatively high installed capacity of offshore wind power in the past, respectively, and became the ninth and tenth largest wind power machine manufacturers in the world.
In 2022, the cumulative installed capacity of global wind power is 923GW.
According to the cumulative installed capacity of wind power, by the end of 20021,the global cumulative installed capacity of wind power will reach 837GW, including 780GW for onshore wind power and 57GW for offshore wind power. With the development of wind power in more and more countries around the world and the continuous decline of wind power cost, the global wind power industry will maintain a rapid development trend, and the installed capacity of global wind power will maintain growth.
In terms of the cumulative installed capacity of global wind power, in 2022, the Asia-Pacific region ranked first with the cumulative installed capacity of 44 1 GW, accounting for 48.9% of the global installed capacity; Followed by Europe, the installed capacity is 252GW, accounting for 28%, the Americas accounts for 22.5%, ranking third, and the installed capacity in Africa and the Middle East is only 9.4GW, accounting for 1% of the global cumulative installed capacity.
