Changchun New District is located in the core hinterland of Changjitu Experimental Zone and the geographical center of northeast China. It is an important node of Harbin-Dalian Economic Belt and China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor, and enjoys the policy superposition advantages of many national strategies, such as northeast revitalization, Changchun-Jilin-Tumen development and opening up, and Harbin-Changchun urban agglomeration.

Railways such as Jingha, Harbin-Dalian Expressway and Changhui Intercity, expressways such as Jingha and Wu Hui, and a number of national highways run through the new area. The "Europe-long" international freight train and the China-Europe train (Changchun-Hamburg) have been opened, and the national trunk airport Longjia International Airport has facilitated the exchange of people and goods in other parts of Northeast China, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and neighboring countries in Northeast Asia.

The establishment and scope of Changchun New District

Changchun New District was approved by the State Council in February 20 16 and formally established in April of the same year. Is China 17 national new district. The approved planning area is 499 square kilometers, and the actual jurisdiction area is about 7 10 square kilometers, including 1 national development zones, namely Changchun High-tech Industrial Development Zone, 3 provincial development zones, namely Changchun Beihu Science and Technology Development Zone, Changde Economic Development Zone and Changchun Airport Economic Development Zone, which govern 2 towns, 5 streets, 5 1 village and 32 villages.
