Having said that, if you are not sure what to buy, it is not always easy to keep everything simple. Customers often ask us how to mount artworks best, floating mounting, cardboard mounting or full-page mounting. Below, we will explain these three ways in detail and share our experience.

This method is called floating installation for two reasons. First of all, we fixed the work on the acid-free foam core board, and the core board was attached to the auxiliary white cardboard. Secondly, we use gaskets to increase the space between the glass surface and the working surface. The effect of this installation is like the work floating in the center of the frame. The thickness of the foam core creates a little shadow around the work, making it more attractive and unique.

This mounting method is suitable for the following artworks:

1. The artwork itself has interesting edges or textures;

2. Original paintings or works on paper;

3. All handmade works (favorite traffic route map, handwritten letter, the first dollar bill you earned)

Most people are familiar with cardboard mounting, because the mounting shops we met before encouraged everyone to fold cardboard layers. The more cardboard they add, the more they earn. We think this practice is both distracting and boring. For cardboard installation, we have two options-white or beige. Using these colors, a simple cardboard can ensure simple mounting and will not be out of date in the next twenty years.

Full-frame installation, as the name implies, is full-frame installation. Unlike floating mounting and cardboard mounting, we directly install your artwork in the frame, which looks beautiful and elegant.

3. Pictures with wider sides
