1987 12 From June to June 26, the United Nations held a ministerial conference on drug abuse and illegal trafficking in Vienna, which was attended by more than 3,000 representatives from 138 countries. The meeting put forward the slogan "Love life, don't take drugs".
The delegates unanimously agreed to designate June 26th as the "International Anti-Drug Day" every year, so as to attract the attention of all countries in the world and call on people all over the world to work together to solve the drug problem in Qi Xin.

1997, on the recommendation of the Economic and Social Council (decision 1997/25 1), the United Nations General Assembly declared June 26th as the United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture (resolution 52/ 12). The purpose of this International Day is to eradicate torture and bring into force the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, which entered into force on June 26th, 1987.
