Carbon neutrality means that enterprises, groups or individuals calculate the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions directly or indirectly generated in a certain period of time, and offset their own carbon dioxide emissions through afforestation, energy conservation and emission reduction, so as to achieve "zero emission" of carbon dioxide.
On September 22nd, 2020, the China government put forward at the 75th UN General Assembly: "China will enhance its independent contribution and adopt more effective policies and measures, and strive to achieve the peak of carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060".
The goal of carbon neutrality is 2060. The term carbon neutrality, energy saving and emission reduction refers to the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions directly or indirectly generated by enterprises, groups or individuals in a certain period of time, and their own carbon dioxide emissions are offset by afforestation, energy saving and emission reduction, so as to realize "zero emission" of carbon dioxide.
On the other hand, the peak of carbon dioxide emissions means that carbon emissions have steadily decreased after the platform period. Simply put, it is to make carbon dioxide emissions "break even".
