Flood and drought disasters are one of the main natural disasters in our province. Important cities, important infrastructure and major grain producing areas in our province are mainly distributed in coastal areas along the Yangtze River, and the population distribution, industrial layout and flood risk areas are highly overlapping. Facing the threat of flood, the contradiction between supply and demand of water resources in our province is still outstanding. The purpose of this province-wide survey is to systematically sort out the main problems and weak links in flood and drought disaster prevention, master the disaster-causing factors of flood and drought disasters, find out the hidden dangers of flood and drought disasters, support flood control and disaster reduction decisions and comprehensive defense of natural disasters, so as to effectively prevent and resolve the risks of flood and drought disasters.
