The monument is located at the peak of the main peak, covering an area of 1 1,000 square meters. The monument is 42.3m high, square, 7m wide and 5m thick.

On the front, there are eight golden characters engraved with the "Yuhuatai Martyrs Monument" written by Deng Xiaoping.

In front of the monument stands a bronze statue of a martyr, 5.5 meters high, entitled "Better die than surrender".

On both sides of the platform, there are stone carvings of the masses paying tribute to the revolutionary martyrs.
