The theme of this year's publicity week is "comprehensively opening a new journey of building a strong intellectual property country".

The launching ceremony of the event was held online at 10 on the morning of April 20th, and broadcast simultaneously on the government websites of all members of the organizing committee.

Intellectualproperty refers to the exclusive rights enjoyed by citizens, legal persons or other organizations in science and technology or culture and art, which is commonly referred to as "intellectual property" now, and is usually the exclusive right or exclusive right granted by the state to the creators' intellectual achievements in a certain period of time.

The Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC) defines intellectual property as the exclusive right enjoyed by the obligee to the following objects according to law: works; Inventions, utility models and designs; Trademark; Geographical indications; Trade secrets; Layout design of integrated circuits; New plant varieties; Other articles prescribed by law.

There are two main types of intellectual property rights: one is copyright (also known as copyright and literary property rights) and the other is industrial property rights (also known as industrial property rights).
